Obama's church must not be forgotten

Senator Obama is now trying to erase his personal history by resigning from his radical Left church, after two decades of active membership -- that's more than 1,000 Sunday sermons over twenty years. The media will do their best to help him fuzz over that history, just as they have tried to eradicate the memory of the Twin Towers and Pentagon assaults seven years ago.  Yet the evidence is overwhelming by now that Trinity United is a front for the hard Left, which is trying to turn American blacks into another angry proletariat, to be played and controlled by their new ideological masters. 

If you have ever wondered why many blacks seem to have difficulty rising in American society and becoming successful as individuals, the malignant spread of Black separatism must count as one big  reason. Radical Leftists have been teaching "race consciousness" to black people, just as the Old Left taught "class consciousness" to impoverished people. The stated goal of Black Liberation Theology is to create racial strife, just as the stated goal of Marxist class propaganda was to whip up class war. 

This is preaching of race hatred for selfish political ends. The aim is not to help black people to rise and become strong as individuals, but to divide and conquer Americans, to slice and dice them into race, gender and sexual orientations in order to empower the Left.   It is the worst kind of human exploitation.

If we really are to have an honest conversations on race in this country, we must identify professional race-baiters who make hay by mentally enslaving vulnerable black people, just as much as they were physically enslaved and exploited during slavery and Jim Crow. 

According to Pope Benedict, Liberation Theology is a Marxist ideology.  It's worth remembering that Benedict is old enough to have seen all this before -- from the Nazis when he was young, to Communism in Germany, to Liberation Theology in the Church as he was growing older. Black Liberation Theology is just a ripe fruit dropping from a very old and bloody tree.

The Rev. Wright, Rev. Moss, Rev. Meeks, the demonic Father Pfleger, Rev. Willie Brown, Louis Farrakhan and the whole Black Liberation movement -- they must not be forgotten, just because Obama and the media want us to. Not just for this election alone, but because the crypto-Marxist churches and their allies in ACORN and the radical Left have deliberately been making things worse for ghetto blacks. This follows the old Leninist maxim that people should be made to feel worse about their social conditions in order to bring about the Revolution.

That is why Rev. Wright is constantly teaching black people that they are trapped in misery for life, and why his disciple Rev. Moss tells his black congregants that they suffer from a "skin disease," because being black is like "having leprosy", and whites will never, ever accept them.  If you are convinced by your leadership that you have leprosy for life, you must hate those who have infected you with that disease, just as in BLT mythology blacks were maliciously infected with AIDS. That is why that "black is leprosy" story is injected over and over again at Trinity United. Trinity teaches victimology -- not self-respect and self-empowerment. 

This is the most destructive idea possible for a group of African-Americans who have in fact been constantly victimized -- in recent decades not by Jim Crow, but by black-on-black crime, drugs, and social pathology. Black Liberation Leftists tell blacks to hate a phony enemy --- the white "oppressors" who do things like spread AIDS in the black ghettos.  Since the Civil Rights Acts of fifty years ago, ordinary decent whites have tried to bring healing to the racial divide -- through affirmative action, through trillions of dollars spent on the War on Poverty, mandatory school busing, through individual churches and synagogues, through charities, and through hundreds of other, private means. 

But some blacks, like the Obamas and other TUCC congregants, have deliberately subjected themselves to weekly messages of racial despair and provocation. The Obamas stayed there for twenty years, some 1,000 Sundays, in part because of their political ambitions to make it big in the Chicago Democrat Machine. But another reason they stayed must have been a genuine acceptance of the radical preaching of all those Leftie Revs. Can you imagine 20 years of listening to this stuff, week after week, if you totally disagreed with it? It would be mental torture. 

We have to assume that after 20 years the Obamas have soaked BLT into the very fiber of their beings. Barack, Michelle, their poor little daughters -- they have been drenched in this propaganda year after year. Repetition works.  In North Korea the rulers expose the enslaved populace to public loudspeakers constantly dinning home the message from Dear Leader Kim Jong Il, over and over and over again. You can't escape it. No normal human being can withstand that kind of psychological assault; it infiltrates your brain, no matter how hard you try to resist. 

The Obamas have chosen to hear those preachings for two whole decades most likely because they believed in it. Black Liberation Theology is the filter through which they see the world.

Senator Obama has accidentally torn the cover off a suppurating wound that has been scratched and scratched by the race-baiting Left until it doesn't stop bleeding anymore.

Americans would be fools if we let this running scandal be covered up, and go on to poison our body politic.

Let the sun continue to shine on Black Liberation Theology, and all the other exploitative efforts to make blacks more miserable and to aggravate racial hostilities for political payoffs. Sunshine is the best disinfectant.

I think one thing this exposes is the extent to which blacks have mentally separated themselves from the rest of Americans. Or have been separated, primarily by the Dem party, which after the end of legal segregation saw them as a group that it could and should cut out to keep as its own. The left has made a constant and continuous effort to keep blacks out of the mainstream, and unfortunately, blacks have bought into this, primarily because of the experiences of their forebears in segregated America when separatism was externally enforced and they had no choice in the matter.

It is ironical that the person who is playing on this lust to view oneself as member of a supposed separate victim caste is himself (a) half white, (b) was brought up by whites, (c) is not related in any way to American blacks and in fact is the son of a Muslim Kenyan who was probably at least part Arab, and (d) had every privilege in the world during youth in one of America’s most idyllic states and then went on to the country’s leading universities.

But demagogues never need to tell the truth, but simply to imply that they are somehow part of the resentful group that they have identified as the one to put them in power and play upon its resentments. If they have picked the right group - gullible, dissatisfied, politically powerful, as are blacks - their path to power is assured. And that’s what we’re seeing now.

Obama, I think, is fully aware of the bright lights now shining on Black Liberation Theology and he plans to save it by pulling it out of the Chicago South side and carefully reintroducing it to the nation as the Obama program for economic redistribution and social justice...i.e. the New American Liberation Theology.

The step from "class consciousness" to "race consciousness" is the step from socialism to national socialism. Back in the '20s in Germany, the big battle was between the commies and nazis for attracting supporters. It was said that anti-semitism was "socialism for morons".

I think a major reason Obama came to identify with the "oppressed" urban underclass was the influence of his pinko white grandparents and his white mother, who disdained America and chose to live in the 3rd World. He couldn't identify with his white half because his own mother rejected her own cultural heritage.

Obama believes himself to be in the vanguard, one of the leading cadre of the revolution; but he has a personal will to power (which I think many of us are underestimating) that makes him want to take it one step beyond this and actually be the Great Leader.

I think we’re in big trouble, because for some reason, people - almost all blacks, who are his carefully cultivated resentment group, and even a good number of whites - seem want to hear that message now.

That may be the reason for hard left support for Trinity. However, the driving force for the congregation isn't Communism; rather it is black racism. Taken to itslogical extreme--all of their wishes granted--they'd form a new master race.
