At a time like this, we do not have the luxury of waiting for our ideal candidate or of indulging our emotions by voting for some third party candidate to show our displeasure-- at the cost of putting someone in the White House who is not up to the job.
Amen, Mr. Sowell

I love Dr. Sowell. He is a very wise man.
I cannot and will not vote for John McCain.
I honestly believe that he’s a half of a dozen short.
I do believe however that Mc Queeg will win without my vote.

In my nightmares, I see Hezbolla(sp?) members dancing in the streets and OBL releasing videos declaring victory and prophetic fulfillment in the wake of an Obama victory.
The MSM will brush it all off, until the first attacks begin, both here and overseas.

On the contrary, he has paid a huge price for resisting our enemies, even when they held him prisoner and tortured him. The choice between him and Barack Obama should be a no-brainer. Yes, it does not even require a brain to know who the vote for. And even though Obama's supporters do not have a brain, they still will vote for him. The Pied Piper leads them on.

When McLame stabs America in the back again by appeasing Iran, don’t say I told you so. McShame says anything to get elected. His actions speak otherwise. Ask the Conservatives in AZ.

Thomas Sowell calls it correctly — If it’s McCain v. Obama — then McCain is the obvious choice.
Thank you, Mr. Sowell, for clarifying.

The point when they get that bomb will be the point of no return. Iran's nuclear bomb will be the terrorists' nuclear bomb-- and they can make 9/11 look like child's play.At a time like this, we do not have the luxury of waiting for our ideal candidate or of indulging our emotions by voting for some third party candidate to show our displeasure-- at the cost of putting someone in the White House who is not up to the job.
The choice between him (McCain) and Barack Obama should be a no-brainer.
Sowell gets it right, yet again.

Mr. Sowel sees through all the confusion of smoke and mirrors to the salient point like no one else has yet. And the truth he speaks is scary, and highlights the importance of this election. This isn’t just another election about domestic policies-taxes, gasoline prices, etc. Nor is it the usu foreign policy balancing act. This is conceivably life or death.

I'd rather vote Ron Paul, than McInsane!
