Definitely encouraging - we need the same type of uprising we had with the amnesty plan.
Amazing though, that if you listen to the mainstream media, it’s only neantherthals that question man-made global warming!

When gasoline and electricity price increases are taken together, 90% of Americans reject the Lieberman-Warner plan's costs -
Using Gore's logic, that means 90% of the voters think the earth is flat.

The congressional “leaders” don’t care what some poll reads because they know what’s best for everyone, including $8 a gallon. /s

The media wont report it and Washington wont care. That's perfect. Like I wrote on the other thread, GWB will veto it. I want a roll call vote so there will be accountability in November for the Congress.

That 90% are glowbull warmink deniers, and we should all surely be jailed or burned at the stake for our heresy!
But what if there aren’t enough jails or stakes in the country ...
To: neverdem
The Dems have the answer for this polling, and McCain better jump on their bandwagon if he’s going to have any chance of winning in November:
The Dems say that average people won’t pay more for energy because they’re going to make the oil companies and rich people pay for the cost. This is a lie, and would lead to the destruction of our society, but it’s a lie people believe. McCain better come up with his own lie or he’s going to find himself losing this election.
To: neverdem
If Republicans don't take the opportunity during this election cycle to pin the blame for high energy prices on democrats - they are stupid and deserve the bloodbath. Americans need to know the prices they pay for electricity and gasoline are directly related to democrat obedience to their masters in the socialist green movement.

A study commissioned by the American Council for Capital Formation and the National Association of Manufacturers estimated Lieberman-Warner would increase electricity prices by 13%-14% by 2014. Inflation alone will cause a larger increase than that.

It’s our job to refute this lie, because the liberal MSM wont correct the record and the media has got this kneejerk anti-oil-company thing going so that any voice against the globaloney regulation is tarred a tool of Big Oil. Hence, the politicians are stuck and the propagandists win.

You’re right, of course. Obviously I didn’t have my PC thinking cap on when I suggested burning conservative fossils for fuel.

What! You think those Congress Critters in D.C. actual represent the people. That is so “old-school”. The planet is more important, without it there would be no people to represent. /sarc
