According to Bob Beckel yesterday, the “big bomb” was to drop on Obama’s campaign sometime today. Since it did not happen, maybe you are right and tomorrow will be the day!

If the Clintons do hold such a card, now would be the time to play it.

If she has the video, and it's really, really bad, she can release it anytime up to the convention – surreptitiously of course. Then the delegates (super and regular) can reconsider the electability question and vote accordingly. But of course, unless the video is unbelievably damaging, they won't dare take it away from the Bro after he has been seen to have won it fair and square. The loss of the black vote would destroy the party, both in the current election and going forward.

If, as is likely, the video is merely one more damaging illustration of Obama's racist milieu, she (or the GOP) can spring it to celebrate Halloween. Of course, if it's Clinton who releases it, it must be done deep cover, ideally in a way that casts the blame on the Republicans. She must be seen to have done everything possible as a loyal Democrat to elect Obama and now to stand ready to carry on in 2012.
