Good point. And a vote for McCain is a vote to kill conservatism. If he wins, he sets the Republican agenda and that means a big screw you to conservatives.
We survived Lyndon Johnson, Jimmy Carter and Bill Clinton governing with liberal Democrat congresses. We can survive President Obama — especially when it means we’ll likely take back control of Congress in 2010, shut down his agenda and revive conservatism.
A vote for Barr is a vote for the conservative principles of limited government. Too bad some selfish infantiles would rather be members of the Republican social club than save conservatism from the jaws of McCain.
The “Two Party System” has survived all these years for one good reason:
Both Parties know, if you split, you lose.
We Conservatives had our chance in this election in the primary... we didn’t put forward a good candidate, and we lost. Get over it.
Now.. your choices are: McPain or Obama.
That’s life. Time to learn to deal with it. Any other vote is a selfish exercise in suicidal futility. If we get spanked? Then, perhaps we can make a comeback in our own Party.
I hate McPain as much as anybody... But, I’m going to hold my nose, and vote. Focusing on: Lower taxes, better execution of the war, and hopefully... a continuation of ‘better’ SC Justices...
