Unequivocally, no. But it's not hard to believe that a man would divorce such an idiot. Your ex must've had at least half a brain.
Did they ever reinstate you to your anger management class?
LOL! That's really clever. Of course, I guess it's out of line in today's nanny-state society to become angry at gestapo government agencies that take advantage of government mandates to abuse children. But, hey, what do I know? I'm just a man, not a smug self-righteous feminist like you.
OK, now that we're done with the small talk, maybe you'd care to take on the central issue.
How exactly do you feel about documented (as opposed to hypothetical) child abuse? Do you approve of taxpayer-funded government-mandated Child "Protective" Services butt-raping small children? Is that OK with you?
Inquiring minds want to know.
You have been on these threads...I find it very hard to believe you haven’t noticed...
I also thought the rules didn’t allow for personal attack- but my eyes have been opened this past month. It seems you can accuse someone of the most vile things, simply because they don’t agree with you 100%.
Thanks! I totally agree! I would have saved those women, the mob would have been on the run!
I think your comments are going beyond the pale, here. Calm down a bit, and argue law, not personalities.
LOL- you really need to think up a new one, after accusing half the posters of that and various forms of it; it is really losing its zing.
Tell me: are you proud of being an apologist for a child rapist?
>> He was a volunteer court-appointed advocate, neither a CPS worker, nor a foster care parent.
but he works closely with CPS and CPS VETTED HIM! It says so in the article: “... and was cleared with CPS”. How do you suppose “the court” found him? He was in the judge’s rolodex? OR—CPS RECOMMENDED HIM?
>> He was thought of as a family friend.
You really are that stupid, aren’t you. He wasn’t a “family friend” BEFORE the court FORCED HIM on the children. No, rather, he gained (with the help of the benevolent, all-powerful State) the TRUST of the family by pretending to be something he wasn’t.
Honest to God, I can’t see how you CPS-lovers can be so willfully blind.
Not by your posts on this subject.
Respect is hard to receive when one doesn’t give it to others.
LeGrande wrote: CPS can't legally touch an adult. So to avoid that little technicality and because they wanted to detain and interrogate her they classified her as a minor. Then, after they classified her as a minor they used that classification to get a second warrant to remove all of the children, because they now had evidence of minors who were parents.
(meaning, her word was all the proof the CPS needed and somehow or another Sarah Barlow Draper was the reason for the second warrant)
I couldn't care less about the 'religious' beliefs of the FLDS. This is a organization of criminals, on so many levels, who have used the word religion as a cover for too many years.
A lawsuit was filed in 1987 against the United Effort Plan It was a business trust originally set up to protect the property of the polygamists, but used by the leadership to acquire deeds to the homes some of the members had built on UEP property.
For lawsuit purposes, these men who had assumed power and control of the organization came up with the name "Fundamentalist Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints" (FLDS) claiming they were an organized church and had been since 1830 when Joseph Smith organized the Mormon Church. They did this in order to legally hide behind a church entity.
You make the mistake of thinking that those of us who want these kids away from the adults in the compound, somehow support and think that everything that CPS does is good.
I have never thought that. They made mistakes in this case. But in general I think they acted in a correct manner in taking the kids away. I always thought that not all the kids should be kept away but that was an issue that would take time to fix.
In fact there was one man who was over 40 and only had one wife. I would not have been opposed to him and his wife not having their kids removed.
CPS serves a vital purpose. There are many parents out there who aren’t fit to have kids. Yet they do. CPS has saved a lot of kids. And no doubt they have messed up to.
As to your link, that guy was not a CPS worker.
ROTFLMAO
For the people in Texas, yes. The FLDS in Utah are into that.
The people in Texas wanted to be left alone. I have never thought that they were on the welfare dole in Texas. That would have meant that the gov. would have to know names, ages, ss numbers etc. The FLDS didn’t want that in Texas.
I am passionate about saving innocent young girls and boys, just as I would have been passionate about saving innocent young women in MASS several years ago.
That should say several centuries ago!
See my many posts on why would you set up a isolated/secretive cult location and then run to the state for money. Odd that you and I agree on something.
Police say child abuse detectives on Tuesday interviewed a 16-year-old girl who said she was assaulted by Carroll in 1999, when she was 7 years old, while spending the night at his house.
An arrest affidavit filed today states that the girl knew the Carroll family.
The girl's family came forward after seeing news media reports discussing the case, according to the affidavit.
The affidavit also states that the girl and several of Carroll's child victims had been drugged with a "slushy" drink containing a narcotic before they were sexually assaulted.
Carroll was charged last week with sexually assaulting a 6-year-old in 23 instances on a videotape that police seized from Carroll's home. The girl who was interviewed Tuesday was able to identify herself from a still photo taken from the video, according to the affidavit.
Carroll also was seen on the video sexually assaulting a 2-year-old on five different occasions, according to arrest affidavits filed Friday. Carroll, 53, also was charged Friday with operating an illegal hidden camera in the bathroom of his home with which he taped a 13-year-old girl.
Carroll now faces seven charges against him, police said.
Carroll was once a volunteer with the Court Appointed Special Advocates of Travis County program, and Sgt. Brian Loyd with the child abuse unit has said that Carroll met at least one of the children he is accused of assaulting through his volunteer work with CASA.

Tar and feather, then draw and quarter the guy but why are you condemning the CPS - looks like he met only one of many victims through his volunteer work with the court.
Are you one of those who think the only good civil servants are trash collectors and road repairmen?
Lol. Sometimes calling an apple an apple and an orange an orange is quite okay, if you know what I mean...
;)
Do you really think a 37 year old women could be confused with a 12 year old girl? LOL You must think that the CPS are really really stupid. (You might be right for once)

Is there anything wrong with that? If Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson, and Baptists qualify as religions, I don't see a problem with the FLDS qualifying as a religion.
Maybe but I'll not forget what I've learned about the FLDS and what they do to their "wives" and their precious children. It will stay with me always and I will continue to pray for them.
