donaldo - Do you have any source on the last line where you say Boma was placed on the Harvard law review because some liberals thought it was neat? I assumed that was one valid accomplishment he had on his resume. I heard of his Columbia undergrad but then saw where he actually started at Occidental and transfered to Columbia. I think he was magna cum laude at Harvard law. I would appreciate any cites for the gift of law review, unless you are just assuming. Thanks.

I think Obama is very smart and needed no racial affirmative action to get where he is. However, he has been rewarded throughout his academic career for taking leftist positions, and the left sees this "clean young black man" as the perfect vehicle to complete its seizure of power in this country. They will play on white guilt, sympathy, and reluctance to seem "racist" if they oppose him.

Lieberman is an INDEPENDENT.

Obama is probably skeered that Joseph Lieberman (Independent, shunned and targeted by the DNC) is considering teaming up as McCain’s running mate.

A move that would shore up McCain’s base with the liberals.

And that wouldn’t please conservatives but wouldn’t come as a shocking surprise either.
