George Lucas has created legendary film heroes like Luke Skywalker and Indiana Jones, but the US director says that in real life, his hero is Barack Obama.
Lucas was in Japan on Wednesday to promote his latest film, "Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull," as Obama clinched the Democratic Party's nomination for president.
"We have a hero in the making back in the United States today because we have a new candidate for president of the United States, Barack Obama," Lucas said when asked who his childhood heroes were.
Obama, "for all of us that have dreams and hope, is a hero," Lucas said.
Lucas is the creator of the blockbuster "Star Wars" series, as well as the adventures of the swashbuckling archaeologist Indiana Jones, played by Harrison Ford.
Obama on Tuesday sealed the Democratic contest after a marathon battle with Hillary Clinton, becoming the first black White House candidate nominated by a major party.

George Lucas needs to check into the nearest sanitarium for a complete rest.

Something about Hollywood turns near-dufas types into complete dufas types. (Few in Hollywood exceed the near-dufas class.) Guess Lucas has been “dufased”.
To: Dahoser
So then, in Lucas’ world, Obama is Luke Skywalker, and Hillary is Darth Vader? And Bill Clinton is the evil emperor of the Star Wars movies?
To: Rebelbase
So One could say that George has turned to the......Dark side.

Given what has happened to the Star Wars franchise, can we be sure it’s not the “farse”?

If I had to give a name to a movie starring the false messiah and Michele “I'm the most miserable millionaire in America” Obama, it would be “Nightmare on Main St.”

I'm thinking Bill Klintoon is Jabba the Hutt considering his appetites. Her Heinous as Darth? Well only if Lucas is one of those hate Hillary Obama supporters. I'm thinking he's more inclined to consider her Han Solo—out for herself, but will do the right thing when really needed. Bush would be Darth Vader in his world, though you would hardly expect Lucas to believe there was good in Bush as he believed there was good still in Vader. Finally, there's no question that Ronaldus Magnus would be the Emperor Palpatine.

Lucas has been a kooky left winger for years now.
No surprise.
He George, remember when you could make a good movie?
Yeah, me neither.
It amazes me that a man that has the thinest of resumes is now a HERO.
Be prepared for this kind of glossy coverage of Obama from here on out. It’s gonna be a long and tedious campaign of suck-ups, within and without of the media, fawning all over the man.

Lucas is great at concepts but s-cks at execution. Now he once again proves that he has poor political judgement as well.
I remember that the book "Easy Riders, Raging Bulls" mentions that his father was a Robert Taft Republican, and that everything he did was in rebellion against his dad. GROW UP ALREADY GEORGE!!!
