I’m still skeptical until proven otherwise. Isn’t this guy the former DIA guy who’s antiwar and anti Bush? Why is he promoting this? Something just seems strange all the way around. I keep thinking of the Dan Rather Air National Guard flap in 2004 when the Democrats thought they had Bush nailed to the wall.
And most of all, why does the Obama camp seem completely unconcerned about all this? If they had something to worry about, seems like they’d be scrambling to do preemptive damage control.
Maybe I’ll be proven wrong, but something’s skeevey about this whole situation.
I am afraid this is getting a major internet and even some press hype just to be shown to be BS when the “tape” is finally shown to leave the public with a sense that Hussein is an all right guy. Just about everything with this much pre-release hype turns out to be nothing. I suspect Hussein’s people are behind this.
