Obama on Whites and Muslims

Senator Barack Obama is now the Democratic nominee for President of the United States of America.

This seems like a good time to consider who this man is. Here are some quotes from his autobiographies Dreams of My Father and The Audacity of Hope that might help Americans and the rest of the world get a sense of this man who is one general election away from the Oval Office.

Before you read them consider that Henry Kissinger once remarked that presidents come into office and leave office the the same men. The job is too demanding to permit opportunities for growth or change. There is simply no time for reflection.

So here is Senator Obama, in his own words.

From Dreams of My Father: "I ceased to advertise my mother's race at the age of 12 or 13, when I began to suspect that by doing so I was ingratiating myself to whites."

From Dreams of My Father : "I found a solace in nursing a pervasive sense of grievance and animosity against my mother's race."

From Dreams of My Father: "There was something about him that made me wary, a little too sure of himself, maybe. And white."

From Dreams of My Father: "It remained necessary to prove which side you were on, to show your loyalty to the black masses, to strike out and name names."

From Dreams of My Father: "I never emulated white men and brown men whose fates didn't speak to my own. It was into my father's image, the black man, son of Africa , that I'd packed all the attributes I sought in myself, the attributes of Martin and Malcolm, DuBois and Mandela."

From Audacity of Hope: "I will stand with the Muslims should the political winds shift in an ugly direction."

“His repeated acts of self-creation spoke to me; the blunt poetry of his words, his unadorned insistence on respect, promised a new and uncompromising order, martial in its discipline, forged through sheer force of will.”

Absolutely classic fascist rhetoric.

Militarism, Will, New Order. All the buzzwords in one sentence

Spot on. Very Mussolini-esque.

And if you haven’t read Liberal Fascism, I recommend it, as an aside.

The man who wrote this just won the nomination of the Democrat party for president.

God help us.

From Audacity of Hope: "I will stand with the Muslims should the political winds shift in an ugly direction."

*************************************************

Here is the complete quote: “In the wake of 9/11, my meetings with Arab and Pakistani Americans … have a more urgent quality, for the stories of detentions and FBI questioning and hard stares from neighbors have shaken their sense of security and belonging,” he laments. “I will stand with them should the political winds shift in an ugly direction.”

"How is it taken out of context??? The complete quote doesn’t make a h*ll of a lot of difference."

******************************************
Totally different! Leave that sort of dishonesty to the Dems please.

You state that you are providing the ‘complete quote’ and then edit out the pertinent phrases. That’s honest how?

He’s STILL standing with the Muslims.

Thanks for the quotes, the picture of Hussein is very clear.

He is a grifter and confidence man of the highest order, and as usual is protected by the media mafia in this country.

He must be destroyed.

Yours friend....so don't go ruining our credibility. It's clear from the full quote that he's talking about Americans.

Just the other day, I was having a sandwich at Carusos in Hayden. I happened to be wearing a ‘Viva la Reagan Revolucion!’ t-shirt – you know – the one that mocks the iconic Che Guevera model. A younger guy got up from his seat with his family, came over to me and said, “I really like your t-shirt.” Before I could reply around a mouthful of BLT, he continued, “I’m afraid for this country. I don’t know what to do…”

That gave me a chance to think, swallow my mouthful, and I responded with this: “I know. There is no good outcome from this election. Defend your life, defend your family, don’t give in and – keep your powder dry.” He thought for a second, nodded in agreement and walked away.

Wow. When strangers come up to you and say things like that, you know that what has occurred to us is doubtless occurring to many others.

The animated contest awaits us all, I think. My tagline makes more sense with each passing day.

He’s saying he’ll stand by the Muslims. Period.
Just as he did when he campaigned for his murderous Islamic-backed cousin, Odinga.
