From a strategic pt of view, I somewhat disagree that he should have done this last night. Tonight he got the spotlight. Yesterday it would have been just another speech.
OTH, given how awful it was, I personally wish he’d given it last night with no coverage.
He got one of the klege lights tonight ... this was awaful, as you stated. HRC and all the hoop-la she and the AP generated today over shadowed McCain’s energizing speech!
