Ah but I think the Clinton “Magic” only worked with a tame media. Now with the Internet and You Tube, the Clinton tactics of deny and blame no longer work. You can spin things as “the Right wing attack machine” when Rush or Hannity or Heweitt is saying them. You cannot say it and be beliveable when people can see the Clinton saying it with their own eyes

She is going to try to force him to be HER Vice President.
She will explain that he will never win, because her people won’t vote for him. If he insists on being the Presidential candidate, he’ll lose and his political career will be over.
But if he agrees to be her VP, the superdelegates can switch to Hillary, she will be the rightful nominee, he’ll be VP, they WILL win the election, and in 8 years he’ll get to be President.

Sadly, I think you’re right. We will always have the Clintons with us.
Obama would be NUTS to let her on the ticket - no matter how much he wants to win (and it might help), it would ruin his presidency to have the Clintonista sideshow constantly threatening to overwhelm the public and media space.
