All 3 candidates have live speeches planned tonight- incoming results from the LAST (can you believe it) of the Dem primaries- it seemed a live thread was called for!
Maybe the debates will rattle his cage. He needs to show some fire.
I blame his handlers. They’re so afraid of his “legendary temper” showing that they’re completely neutered him. Damn.

Maybe Crist from Florida, but McCain’s already gonna win Florida. He gains nothing there. Obama has spent the last 3 months telling Florida that they don’t count. Such electoral irony, that.
There’s a somebody or other in Minnesota, but Minnesota isn’t any help unless it’s got lots of money, lots of organization, and lots of electoral votes.
Romney actually puts Michigan in serious play, and maybe even opens up something extra in the Northeast.
I think a McCain/Romney ticket is formidable, but we’ll see.
I see no way at all that it’ll be Huckabee.

McCain’s speech if you took the first few minutes was very strong.
He hit Obama dead on.

I share that joy. I’ve been waiting since April for this day. However there’s one problem. Apparently this Obama character has a heartbeat. And it’s at risk.
On substance, there’s little doubt in my mind that McCain will rip him to shreds in a debate format. It should be interesting, no doubt.
