Kelsey Grammar suffered a heart attack on Saturday. Actor Kelsey Grammer suffered a minor heart attack Saturday while paddle boarding with his wife Camille, his publicist has confirmed.
The actor, 53, is "resting comfortably" at a hospital nearby the couple's home in Hawaii.
Grammer is best known for his roles on TV comedy classics, "Cheers" and "Frasier."
He was hoping to reprise his television star status with the series "Back To You," but last month told the Associated Press that Fox decided to abruptly cancel the series.
According to Grammer's publicist, the actor was rushed to an area hospital where it was determined that he had suffered a "mild heart attack." Grammer does not have a history of heart trouble, he added.

Wishing a full and complete healing to Mr. Grammer. He is the funniest man on TV, and Frasier is the only show I’ve ever watched that is always a guarantee Laugh Out Loud. I could watch that show every single day; it is sheer intelligent comedic genius.
My family was saddened that his newest show was cancelled — the season finale was actually HILARIOUS (sadly it was the first episode that really was All That — maybe the characters were just coming into their own, and a little too late?)
He’s a very nice person; my parents live near him in Hawaii.
This may end up being a good thing in that the problem may be addressed before something more dire occurred.

I think he admits he learned a lot from Jack Benny. Certainly his timing is similar.
I really looked forward to the new series but was disappointed in the first episode or two, so didn’t keep watching.

Never mind, the HI board is inactive.
He needs to run against Daniel Inouye for the Senate HI seat and get that switched over to Republican conservative - he’d been a good addition to offset all the scum and villany that we call the US Senate.
i think Kelsey had a problem with the nose candy. Could be why his heart is weak.
