Regarding McCain’s advisor, Steve Schmidt, taking the statist, Democrat line that McCain will fix the problems with New Orleans, why should Rush be surprised? McCain is a liberal. He votes with the Dems at least as often as with the Republicans. Of course he’s trashing President Bush—I don’t think he’s ever gotten over losing to him in 2000—and W is conservative enough to make McCain look bad.
