Obamas Ex-Church Has Won $15M in Federal Grant Money by FOXNews.com Monday, June 2, 2008
By Jeff Goldblatt
Across America seven days a week, parents drop their kids at day care centers, which are supported by funding from the federal government.
But what makes one facility noteworthy in inner city Chicago is that its run by Trinity United Church of Christ. Its the same church whose former head pastor, Rev. Jeremiah Wright, drew widespread scrutiny after he cursed the U.S. government for its treatment of African-Americans.
FOX News has learned that over the last 15 years, Trinity has received at least $15 million in grants from the federal government in other words, taxpayer money.
Records show this money supported a variety of outreach: everything from low income housing to nutritional programs for needy kids to money for HIV/AIDS education. Wright blames the government for intentionally infecting the African-American community with that deadly virus.

I am very POed. Anyone that voted for it should be run off.
Thank you God for those GD whiteys and these here GD United States. But this ain’t enough! We want more since we been suffrin fo fo hunert years! And it’s all the GS whiteys fault.
$15 billion, just enough to buy Revernd Wright that mansion in Orland Park plus a couple of white Porsches manufactured by white people.
The liberal media has never told us exactly what being a “Community Organizer” entailed. For Barack Obama, it meant basically getting money from local, state and federal governments to subsidize his hate church and other left-wing organizations.
People have no idea how much the funding of Planned Parenthood, the ACLU, and other leftist groups comes from the taxpayer. With the help of Community Organizers like Barack H. Obama, of course.
Amazing how long it has taken for this information to come out.
From Hotair:
“Update (Ed): After AP posted this, I tooled around through the FedSpending.org database to see how these grants got allocated. The database covers all grants and contracts for fiscal years 2000-2007 and is a great resource. According to the search, TUCC received its last grant in FY2001, for $150,000 under a program to Improve the Health Status of Minority Populations.
After 2001, the grants apparently stopped, which might also explain some of the hostility Wright felt for the federal government.”
So...now the truth is known, but this liberal commie writer just had to bring up ‘Faith based Initiatives’ from the Bush Administration (which was not even passed when the church got it’s last grant)
Color me pissed off at another MSM biased article.
The Video That Barack Obama DOESN’T WANT YOU TO SEE!

Reverend Jeremiah Lesko says: "God Damn America! And get your FREE MONEY!"
And the chorus sings...
"Gimme, gimme, you rotten whiteys! Down with the USA!"
How does a church get Federal grant money? (more like WHY) What happened to separation of church and state, huh?
Why do I feel like typical white person, taxpaying sucker?!
Giving the good “Reverend Wright” our money is beyond obscene.
Seen this?
Seen this?
“Rev.” Wright and the UCC are laughing all the way to the bank:
“Since 2003, the administration has increased grants to faith-based organizations by 20 percent. That’s a positive development; that’s the kind of news that I like to hear, particularly when those faith-based programs are changing America one soul at a time.”—George W. Bush

I’m sure you’ve seen this already, but just in case...
The “Faith Based Initiatives” that Liberals complained about.
As usual, Jorge is looking out for us!
The downside of faith based iniatives. At least the little ones are getting an “appropriate” education. President Obama would approve, and expand the program.
IRS needs to do a thorough investigation of this church. Preaching politics (of racial hatred) from the pulpit, lining the pockets of the pastor with money from the public trough, etc., is NOT the way my church works. It shouldn’t be the way ANY church works. Their “church” IRS status should be yanked.
Thanks for the ping!
I guess that whole Church and State thing doesn’t count if its a black church.
Then again, they don’t preach any recognizable gospel there, so maybe there’s no conflict.
