By Steven McCaffery

Steven McCaffery
ARTICLE SNIPPET: “Mr Bush held talks at Stormont with First Minister Peter Robinson and Deputy First Minister Martin McGuinness, telling them they had made unimaginable progress.
Mr McGuinness later said Mr Bush had invited the Northern Ireland leaders to visit the White House before his term ends in six months.
The US leader held more than an hour of talks with politicians at Stormont Castle, but as discussions got under way it emerged that two police officers had been slightly injured in a terrorist landmine attack near the border on Saturday.
The officers were in a car crossing a bridge near the village of Rosslea, Co Fermanagh, when part of the device exploded early on Saturday morning, although details of the attack claimed by dissident republican group, Continuity IRA, were only released yesterday.
Inspire
Despite the activities of paramilitary groups opposed to peace, Mr Bush said Northern Ireland had made great progress which would inspire other regions.”
