While I agree we should vote in Conservative candidates, would you please direct me toward a Conservative candidate that is in contention for this election? -crickets- Thought so.
While McCain is obviously difficult to swallow, I find it EXTREMELY difficult to throw my vote away and risk a president who actively seeks to undo the progress made by the military over the past several years. Not only that, but BO really YEARNS to yank our military's technological advantage back a few steps by curtailing our advanced weapon systems research. Not smart.
Look, I am not a fan of any of these liberals running this election by any means...I am just being realistic. You and I BOTH know that either McCain or Obama will be seated upon the throne at the end of the day regardless. I WILL give you this...your intentions are very noble, just unattainable.
Keyes and Barr are both available for your vote. Considering your DEFCON sentiments, I would suppose that Keyes would be a more likely fit.

If that is so, then the race is already done, and Obama will ascend. McCain will not get wide support among Conservatives, and especially within the Christian Right. That is an insurmountable deficit in votes, money, and grassroots laborers.

Thanks for that. I would give you the same courtesy, and the same predictable outcome. :D
FReegards.
His name was on the ballot for the CT primary.
I filled in his name.
This is great news.
LOL!! If Hunter is VP, I'll eat your other shoe!
Seriously, anyone thinking McCain will pick any conservative as his running mate is smoking rope. It wouldn't even occur to him, he is after the Democrat vote. I say to John McCain, go for it, because you ain't getting mine!
McCain is distancing himself from the conservative wing of the Republican party. If the conservatives were smart they would distance themselves from McCain.
Before any of the weak-kneed reactionaries tell me that "not voting for McCain is a vote for Osama Obama", there are plenty of democrats who will be voting for McLame to offset my vote....
The old lesser of two evils argument. If it was Obama vs. Linc Chaffee, would I be expected to vote for Linc? Arlen? Olympia? Lindsey? Juan?
Lesser of two evils is STILL evil....only a DUmba$$ keeps making the same mistake over and over, yet expecting a different result each time.
Well, if it were the same thing (Bush), I’d vote for him. Unfortunately, it is instead a vicious swerve left from our current mildly centre-right president.
If the nominee for the party doesn’t support the party platform 100% (platform is voted on by convention), then not only are they not a Republican, they won’t get my vote.
