PARIS — Legendary designer Yves Saint Laurent, who reworked the rules of fashion by putting women into elegant pantsuits that came to define how modern women dressed, died Sunday evening, a longtime friend and associate said. He was 71.

Pierre Berge said Saint Laurent died at his Paris home following a long illness.

(Aids?)

...

Bouts of depression marked his career. Pierre Berge, the designer's longtime business partner and former romantic partner, was quoted as saying that Saint Laurent was born with a nervous breakdown.

...

When he bowed out of fashion in 2002, Saint Laurent spoke of his battles with depression, drugs and loneliness, though he gave no indication that those problems were directly tied to his decision to stop working.

"I've known fear and terrible solitude," he said. "Tranquilizers and drugs, those phony friends. The prison of depression and hospitals. I've emerged from all this, dazzled but sober."

This primary might have been over by now if it weren’t for her hiding her legs in pantsuits.

It was Yves Saint Laurent who paired women's pantsuits with high heels, which I think is a great look and one that I just love.

I did a google news search for “Hillary Clinton” “Yves St. Laurent”. A couple of fawning, presstitute articles mentioned that a protege of Yves St. Laurent designed her inaugural gown back in 1993....nothing about ol’ crusty though.

Spent $500 on a suit back in 1990 or so. It was YSL. STILL one of the most gorgeous things I own. Whenever I wear it, I must go about armed so as to beat off the women.

Because they want to APPEAR and be labeled HAPPY to cover up how angry and depressed they are with their lifestyle COICE. Phony labels and appearances mean allot to some folks.

I'd be depressed, too, if designing the pantsuit look was the pinnacle of my contributions to mankind.

I wodner about that too ... .

Perhaps one of the reasons they are into the “arts” - acting, fashion design is because it is SUBJECTIVE and folks don't look closely at their lifestyle to purchase their product. They should but often this is over looked. Vilachi was another homosexual noted for fashion design - a spurned lover stabbed him to death ... . It just seems anything in the arts and I include fashion is infested with sexual perversion. It does show up in their designs too ... but they seem to temper it for $$$$$.
