Can anyone compare, for example, Memphis, TN to the English condititon? An acquaintance has mentioned an area of south Memphis now referred to as ‘Little Iraq’...AND, rising assaults, burglaries, drug trade, murders, etc. A Jordanian, Sunni, Wahhabist cab driver in Memphis has told my acquaintance that Memphis is too violent for him and he is trying to get a job back in Chicago.
In South Memphis, how many people are born into a family with a mom and dad? Compare that to Istanbul, Turkey.
As for Europe:
In the Balkins, there are no huge immigrant communities that feel like they are superior to the host nation’s people.

Nah, that’s just always been Orange Mound. You know, from Three 6 Mafia. You mean you don’t listen to Thre 6 Mafia? ha!
There are parts of Memphis that are straight up hellholes. Does make working the trauma unit more interesting, though.
Memphis is a third world city.
Memphis, Camden, most of Philadelphia, Jackson, East St. Louis, etc. are probably more dangerous than Zimbabwe, let alone the UK.
The distribution of crime is a big difference between the US and England. US crime is generally very localized. There are dangerous parts of cities, but the middle class neighborhoods have remarkably low crime rates.
England has crime issues throughout the country. It seems that there are a lot of gangs who are able operate with little threat of capture or punishment. There are fewer murders, but crimes like muggings, burglaries and car thefts are higher than in most of the US.
