Soros Publisher 'Shaped' McClellan's Hit Job: Other publishers don't recognize it as the same book
American Thinker ^ | 05/31/08 | Wm Tate

An examination of published reports reveals that Scott McClellan's kiss-and-smell betrayal of George W. Bush is a far cry from the book McClellan started out to write and was shaped into an offensive tome by a publisher with close ties to George Soros.

To understand how McClellan's literary knife-in-the-back evolved, one has to know something about the book industry.

Books are over rated.

Movies based on books are even more over rated.

Newspaper reports on books and movies are worthless. Only the reader can decide the value.

Congresscritters who use the book as source material are pond scum!

he was under pressure to write the type of book that would sell, if he wanted to make MORE money.

he was under pressure to accept 'professional' "help" to write [for him] the type of book that would sell, if he wanted to make MORE money....AND to continue the lie he is the author! Scott McClellan longest continuously paid mole in Bush' administrations!

...and apparently that's what his goal was...write a book that would BRING in MORE money.

It didn't clearly explain why his motive was to make money as it was supposed to be a a factual account of his time in the WH. Other than the fact he duped everyone, if I were him I would never be able to live with myself for selling out the WH staff for a few measly bucks. So apparently we can assume A) He never was a conservative or even shared conservative ideals, or B) (which is most likely the case) his greed for money outweighed his allegiance to the conservative cause. And if in fact it is B, then he is a disgrace and should be tried for treason.

1) 75K+royalties for borrowing his ex-good name! 2)...for essentially no work, save a few pages of outline material, and going along with 'the lie',which, told often enough will pass media muster as 'the news'!

My point is that is still selling out for a pittance even if royalties would eventually earn him a million $, unless he doesn't care how it tarnishes his name. If he doesn't care then we will know what kind of creep he really is and always was.

All I know is his 15 minutes of fame is going right to the discount bin at Borders or a Waldenbooks near you.

Yep...I agree it's probably b. ... but, I wouldn't rule out a. either.

Could be a combination of both...I also, agree with your last statement completely.

Scott McClellan longest continuously paid mole in Bush' administrations!

Sicken, isn't it?

He probably never had any true convictions of any kind.

If this President and his administration had been popular, the weasel would have rode those coattails and cashed out accordingly...since that was not the case, he had no qualms going the other way to try and make a buck.

Being the spineless, characterless person he is, he has probably had no problem convincing himself that he has had a so called change of heart.

One of the REALLY infuriating pieces of this whole deal to me is...had he never been Press Sec, if Tony had succeeded Ari...W's ratings would have still been low, but, not as low as that POS further lowered them!

Books are over rated.

Buy a book by its publisher and you won't be disappointed. You'll know what to expect as far as quality and political view.

If the Soros publisher thinks that Scott McClellan's book is "explosive," his father's book (published five years ago) is a megaton nuke by comparison.

Blood, Money, and Power, by Barr McClellan, gave a strong argument for LBJ's involvement in the JFK assassination plot, and also accused LBJ of being a conspirator in a couple of earlier political rubouts during his time as a US Senator.

Unfortunately, for a media controlled by the left, a book about policy differences within a GOP White House is more "explosive" than a book accusing a former Dem president of getting to the White House via assassination. That's an indicator of the perverse mindset of the Soroses of the country.

McClellan, didn't seem bright enough to have written a book at all, he was just money hungry, so through the white house under the bus, a Judas move. Shameful twit!

Movies based on books are even more over rated.

Truth will prevail but I have a hunch there is a movie in the making within the title it will say based on a true story and then refer to this piece of garbage book, if not now but soon. As soon as Pres. Bush leaves office this book will be out in a Movie only the movie will be much more toxic.

Just leave it to Hollywood and the commies there to trash our country with the help of this political wack-job.

His life’s worth for less than a 100 grand and he will be marred like a ink stain for the rest of his life because of this hit piece he signed his name to.

Meanwhile, McClellan's "fifteen minutes of fame" didn't last as long as a four minute mile...

What a sad sack this McClennon is.

He was hoodwinked by the international pimp soros. But willingly is my guess given his family dynamics.
