Mark Steyn uses Hillary Clinton's plight as as a metonym for the declining influence of women in most of the world. The greatest irony of liberalism's worship of abortion has been to bring back the once vanquished patriarchy.

whatta joke!

i assume that someday there will be a female president.

but she will have achieved the office on her own merits

and not as the wife of bill.

also, hillary brings her own baggage from bill clinton’s terms to the arena.

How else to explain why their gal got clobbered by a pretty boy with a resume you could print on the back of his driver’s license,

Hmmm. tough one. - How about because she was about worth spit even in the democrat party and not leftist enough for the current Marxist face of the new democrat party

It's not about being a woman.

It IS about what kind of woman is Hitlery?

Hiltery is a liar, a thief and someone who has leftist policies. Golda Meir, Margaret Thatcher were women too. People liked their message and how they conducted themselves so this paranoia about women is ridiculous - excuses for not accepting the people don't want her ideology and find her untrustworthy.

Steyn never disappoints. This line is a howler.

“Hey, why not? In Obama’s Cook County, Illinois, many fallen heroes from the Spanish-American War still show up in the voting booths come November. It’s not unreasonable for some of them to turn up at an Obama campaign rally, too.”

Yeah, at the cost of millions of female lives.

(Not that they care...)

It is really funny that feminism has largely worked to benefit the worst urges and impulses in men at the expense of the oh-so-stupid women who buy into it. Yes, please show us how “empowered” you are by taking your clothes off for men or for having no-strings-attached sex with men. That will teach them. And if you get pregnant, be sure to remember abortion is YOUR right, so please go get rid of that potential obligation for the man that impregnated you. Morons.

a rhetorical surefootedness that makes Dan Quayle look like Socrates. “On this Memorial Day,” said Barack Obama last Monday, “as our nation honors its unbroken line of fallen heroes — and I see many of them in the audience here today…”

What a dunce. And what dunces are the MSM for not exposing him as a laughingstock.

I think it's easy--
Hillary is trying for
the VP office.

VP for eight years,
and then Prez for eight more years.
Her sixteen year reign . . .

Hillary is losing because Obama’s race card is more powerful than her gender card, and because Obama’s younger and more hip. Her supporters are blaming her loss on “sexism” because they can’t bring themselves to admit that she’s losing because of the very diversity she has long championed.

Steyn is right, of course, about the negative effects of abortion on women. I’ve said many times that pro-abortion females are the politically stupidest people on the planet. It’s pretty sobering when you realize that the rising world powers are going to be the most male societies to ever exist, and that pro-abortion feminists have sent the Western world (the most pro-woman civilization ever) into a demographic deathslide.

Geraldine Ferraro is among many prominent Democrat ladies putting up their own money for a study from the Shorenstein Center at Harvard to determine whether Senator Clinton’s presidential hopes fell victim to party and media sexism.

Gee I wonder what they'll find out? The suspense is killing me.

Must be nice to have money to burn on something like this. Is it tax deductible?

How else to explain why their gal got clobbered by a pretty boy with a resume you could print on the back of his driver’s license, a Rolodex apparently limited to neo-segregationist racebaiters, campus Marxist terrorists and indicted fraudsters, and a rhetorical surefootedness that makes Dan Quayle look like Socrates. “On this Memorial Day,” said Barack Obama last Monday, “as our nation honors its unbroken line of fallen heroes — and I see many of them in the audience here today…”

LOL!!!!

"There’s a lot of that about. Sex-selective abortion is a fact of life in India, where the gender ratio has declined to 1,000 boys to 900 girls nationally, and as low as 1,000 boys to 300 girls in some Punjabi cities"

...and what does Obama the pro-abortion abortion extremist say about all this? Nothing.

Since this would be impossible to quantify, it's clear that a study like this is commissioned and prepared purely for propaganda purposes.

Easy, rock beats paper, race beats gender. Even Ferraro knows that when she said that bambi would not have done nearly as well if he had just been a lowly white male. Also, Obambi's "blackness" is hip and cool (to moonbats)....such coolness that even trumps Billyboy's saxaphone.

Face it Hillary, its not sexism, you easily beat every white male that ran against you, and John Edwards too, you just are not as hip as bambi and that is what really matters to the new democrats.

It reduces the female population, but I don't know if it is bringing back Patriarchy. The organization I work for had all male execs only just a few years ago, now they are almost all female, and the few men execs are all metrosexuals. I don't see that changing anytime soon.
