As is typically the case, in my warped mind I feel that everyone — everyone — is missing the point. The scandal here is not that Hillary was cheated, or that Obama might be, or that the party is not going to have a united front.
The scandal dates back many months, when the Democratic elders, in all of their arrogance, disenfranchised roughly half of the 18 million people who live in Florida and call themselves Democrats, and half of the 10 million Michiganders who call themselves Democrats.
The ripple effects of this have been horrific. And those of us on this site who revel in their mess must also recognize the collateral damage to the democratic roots of our country. This is a disgrace and a shame and travesty. We should all be calling for Howard Dean’s ouster, along with anyone even remotely linked to the outcome.
Except in the very short run, this has little or nothing to do with HRC or BOH. They are pawns in the larger picture.
Howard Dean is a pig. He and his inner circle need to go.
McCain will apologize if they do. He's such a nice guy, doncha know.
