Army investigator testifies in Marine’s court-martial http://www.signonsandiego.com/news/military/20080530-1448-bn30grayson.html
During cross-examination, defense attorney Joseph Casas questioned Watt about allegations that he had threatened the lives and careers of Army officers investigating whether he had fraternized with a staff sergeant in violation of military regulations.
While this has nothing to do with Haditha, this clearly goes to his truthfulness, Casas said.
Watt acknowledged that he had been relieved of his command earlier this year, but he denied threatening other soldiers. He also said he did not have a personal relationship with the staff sergeant.
see the post above.
Laughner is an admitted liar and this Watt is dancing like Fred Astaire.
Watt acknowledged that he had been relieved of his command earlier this year, but he denied threatening other soldiers. He also said he did not have a personal relationship with the staff sergeant.
If Watt didn't threaten any soldiers or have a relationship with a SSGT then why was he relieved, there's got to be a reason and it reflects on his character.
Haha! And Watt said what? At first he said they were innocent, then when pressured during 1st Lt Grayson’s hearings he seemed to indicate that he thought Grayson was less than truthful. Based on what? You got me. He never gave a good reason why, IMO. I think Col. Watt’s “chickens have come home to roost”.
Too bad the prosecutors are counting on their weakest links. An admitted liar who doesn’t know basic protocol in image handling (SSgt Laughner), and a dude who has been relieved due to his crazy text messaging.
Sounds like Col Watt was found quilty of hiding the salami with said Staff Sergeant.
He was relieved of command. That is so devastating to his credibility.
If the photos were deleted, then Grayson was being truthful in responding that there were no photos. Nor were there supposed to be any.
Laughner was wrong to retain contraband photos.
Red, do we have anyone on the inside who can report other than the prosecution's point of view?
