A pretty indepth look at Chinese cyber policy. I hope the Air Force is able to get a handle on it.

Anyone else think we have too much interconnection?

Automating control of everything through remote computers may save a few dollars now but cost our economy(that's us,folks) billions and billions later.

If and I mean *IF* the Chinese did this, we should retaliate in kind. Seriously, their banking and financial sectors are almost as computerized as ours, as we definitely have the tech and knowledge to crash them at will. Maybe not do that, but a little tweak that “accidentally” transferred a couple billion dollars to the US economy wouldn’t be a bad thing, would it? Also a very effective slap on the wrist.

We need a clear policy. If we can prove Chinese government hackers are responsible for a blackout, is that considered an attack? Do we respond with real bombs, or some of our own hackers? Or are we just perpetually playing defense?

So, many Chinese are sneaky, subtle, inscrutable, dastardly info-thieves? YGBSM!

Come get us

There are 60,000,000 ready to fight and die for this country.

As Bret Hart once wrote, "For ways that are dark, and for tricks that are vain, the heathen Chinee is peculiar."

.....

Even if that be so,
Chinese society does not revolve around computing and the internet
the way ours does.

We are “asymmetrically” vulnerable.

The problem is,
how best to retaliate.

Considering if need be, every serious firearm owner in the country would form to make the most massive army the world has ever seen, yeah, I think it would make up for the rest of the country.
