Actually, I always enjoyed the series when it ran on HBO, and look forward to seeing the movie with my wife, who is a big fan.
I usually hate chick flicks (with some notable exceptions). I don’t know whether this movie will be any good, but the show was always witty, intelligent, occasionally touching and generally entertaining, IMHO.
Anyone who disagrees with me is a scum-sucking commie bastard. (just kidding, I know that a lot of scum-sucking commie bastards, especially female ones, really liked the show too.)

I agree with you 100%. I loved the show. Loved the clothes. Loved the characters. Except Samantha. And I don’t like her because she’s just annoying. Also loved how, in the end, they all ended up with someone they loved. Funny how some people freak about shows with sex, yet have NO problem with movies and shows with lots of violence and murder. However, those that don’t like the show have a choice. Don’t watch the reruns and don’t see the movie.
You are just hoping for nudity and because it is a chick flick you think your wife will allow it. :)
I thought it was total trash and I’m sorry to see it marketed to young kids as “skankiness is cool.”
