I have always suspected that maybe it was a Bob Dole clone who ran, and not the real man. Or maybe his political handlers were putting something in his food. Because he straightened out again as soon as he quit that miserable campaign. Yeah. Had he shown this sort of spine back in '96, we might have been spared another 4 years of Slick Willie.

He’s been out of the loop for awhile, he might need to bone up on things

"...your type soaks up the benefits of power, revels in the limelight for years, then quits, and spurred on by greed, cashes in with a scathing critique."Bob Dole just defined the typical liberal in a clear, concise manner. Bravo.

If Bush had had this team of spinners out since 2001, maybe his approval numbers wouldn't be in the 20’s range.
It seems strange that Bush allowed 7 years of a constant barrage from the MSM and the Dem and he remained quiet. Now, with the first critical book from a former staffer, Bush mounts a full spin machine, reminiscent of something Bill Clinton would have done.

Finally... a Republican who has spine.
Where are the rest of the Republican bottom feeders? Still hiding under slime covered rocks sucking down $170,000 a year?

Another thought is to weasel your way back into the White House if a Democrat is elected. That would provide a good set up for a second book deal in a few years. You're right - that's a terrific line, and a brutal put-down because it reveals an essential truth: once a weasel, always a weasel. That said, I can't wait to hear Ann Coulter's take on the estimable Mr. McClellan: I expect that by the time she's done with him, little Scotty will no longer be able to pee standing up. If he ever did.

I was thinking for 'heresy' for one post and 'hearsay' for another, so I mentally combined them to save typing. LOL.

I personally am tired of Rush. I don’t listen to him anymore. I admit that this Operation Chaos has worked to a degree, but now why would he put out this video.
Why can he not wait until Hillary is completely gone then go after Obama.
I detest the Clintons. All I want is for them both to be gone. If he keeps this up, she is going to be the next president.

Like he said, there are always one or two Scott McClellans around. Nobody really likes guys like him, they are simply useful idiots. Every high school class has one or two guys like Scott McClellan in it.
Everybody knew who they were then. Most people recognized McClellan as one when he first took the job. One wonders why George W. Bush didn't recognize him for what he was before it was too late.
Once a weasel, always a weasel.
