The former Bush administration pitchman making explosive election-year charges about how the White House handled the Valerie Plame case and built the case for invading Iraq said Thursday that he went to Washington to change it and became disillusioned when he realized he was just a pawn in the never-ending political game.

This article betrays such an ignorance of the Plame outing case facts from one who purports to know something about them, that I believe McClellen has gone "Stockholm".

What a book-pimping drama queen.

Just another schmuck trying to hawk a book before the “We hate Bush” moonbat market disappears. Kitty Litter Kelly sure has stiff competition.

...when he realized he was just a pawn in the never-ending political game. What a nitwit. Did he really think (as an unelected mouthpiece) he wold have any relevant input into the country's policy? Of course he was a pawn, everybody who serves the President (or a Congressman) is a pawn.

We invaded Iraq because of Valerie Plame? LOL LOL LOL
Some people have delusions of grandeur.

Every decision that is made is made politically. It depends on who has the authority, the information, the influence, etc.
If Politics stop, decision making stops.
The issue isn't whether or not the political game is played, but whether the tactics used are ethical or not.

What an A-s. Plame had nothing behind her allegations of any sort. She was outed by a Dem, her husband, and herself.

These quotes by Mclellan are meaningless. Of course there is a constant "political game" and when you read these stories Mclellan doesn't know anything new and he really doesn't say anything when you parse it out.
The "Plame case" was such a nothing event how could it be a "turning point" for anyone?

This is payback for Bush refusing to back his mama in the election.
Richard Armitage was no way involved in the White House outing her, and Scooter Libby was foolish and was pinched by an overzealous prosecutor.
His lame excuse for trashing Bush is all personal, the guy was a pantywaist milquetoast in his official capacity and doesn’t have the b*lls to go face to face with the big boys, he sucker punches them when they are turned.

Congress, including many Democrats, made many speeches against Iraq and their WMD’s prior to 2000 and prior to the Iraq war without any influence from the Bush Administration.

Personally, I don't understand all the manufactured hoopla about this story now, it is redux from last year.

Libby’s prosecution was payback by Fitzpatrick for Libby beating him in the first Marc Rich trial. It was such a bag job that Denis Collins the Jury Foreman was a personal friend and coworker of Star Witness Tim Russert.
