Matt Lauer was rumored to have one.

Keffiyehs can be all sorts of styles, patterns, and colors. Frequently no color, though the pro-palestinian scarf versions are usually black or red with the houndstooth pattern. Her's looks like a lousy digital photo of houndstooth to me, but it could be floral. Obviously there's no way of knowing what or why Ray is wearing, these things haven't been stylish for a couple years. I can see them not using the ad and shooting another, I don't think anything should happen to her.
Here's Meghan McCain in one.

Not a Tallit, theyre not worn or marketed as fashion. A boycott would be silly, DD acted, and I agree that Rachel Ray probably was clueless as to the nature of the scarf, as was McCains daughter when she wore one upthread. But I agree with Ezekiel, the ad agency certainly knew, or should have. These things are marketed to mainstream the message, and as I noted earlier were used as anti-war statements, UO sold it as an anti-war scarf, to reinforce the natural alliance between the anti-war crowd and terrorists. The alliance not based on a desire for peace, but a revulsion for America and Israel.
I’ve read that her father is Jewish.
