I haven't seen Chris Matthews this excited since a Barack Obama speech sent that special sensation skyward.
The Hardball host is in an absolute frenzy over Scott McClellan's allegations. So much so that guests on this evening's show are having a hard time expressing themselves as Matthews expounds at length. Ari Fleischer finally called Chris on it. And while David Gregory didn't express his ire in words, he made a facial expression that left little doubt as to his annoyance at being cut off in mid-sentence.
The screencap shows Gregory's grimace. But be sure to view the video here to get the full effect. A bit later, former Bush press secretary Ari Fleischer appeared. He could be seen on many occasions attempting to speak, only to be submerged in a sea of ceaseless Matthews chatter. Talk at one point turned to VP Cheney's involvement in policy-making. Fleischer was again repeatedly frustrated in his attempts to talk, and finally had enough.

Why bother to have guests ping to Today show list.
Is Chris Matthews a married metrosexual wimp?
Mark: you linked to the picture, d00d.
Funny, when Joe Lieberman bolted the Democrat party, the liberals tarred and feathered him ...
D’oh! Sorry about that. Here’s the link to the article:

Kathleen Matthews Signs off ABC 7 NEWS WJLA TV WASHINGTON DC

CALLER EXPOSING THE LIBERAL PUBLISHER!!
Kathleen wears the pants, that’s for sure. I have never heard of her.
Chris Matthews always reminded me of Barney Rubble.
Something about his mouth and the way he moves it while talking, keeps me expecting him to spit out a big old wad of chewing tobacco at any given moment.
I think that comes from talking out of both sides of it alot. :)
Matthews shuts out other peoples opinions because not only does he obviously love the sound of his own voice, he’s afraid that letting someone else present their point will refute was he says. That is true for all those who stop other peoples comments in midsentence. They’re afraid that that the person they refuse to let talk might be right about the particular issue being discussed.
I didn’t think it was possible to grimace without lips but he’s pulled it off nicely.
What a pitiful fellow Matthews has turned out to be- I remember when he sounded fair and rational..bout 10 years ago.
That, Sir, is an insult to Mr. Rubble!.
He never lets his guests finish a sentence or stream of thought. Never.
Believe or not, I'd like to hear someones opinion besides birdbrain Chris
I think the last time I watched him, nobody on his show actually said a complete sentence.
Of course spitting on your guests is pretty rude
Popman, you took the words right out of my mouth. It made my blood boil watching him do that, so......, I quit watching him totally.
