Psst....I hear Laz has man hands
The problem I have with that series is that is next to impossible for me to believe that someone so damned homely as Sarah Jessica Parker could, even for moment, be a leading lady. Maxim Magazine was dead on when the readers picked her as the most unattractive woman on television. She has the face of a witch, very tiny eyes, a greasy complexion, and a 6-inch jaw (not to mention that chin wart).
Perhaps that’s evidence that it’s really a show catering to gays (ala Ann Coulter’s right-on critique).
Before anybody gets testy with me about how I feel about her looks, remember that she was/is cast as the LEAD feminine vamp in that tragic show. I didn’t cast her. Nor did I cast her in that hair commercial, when they have her face kinda’ fuzzy so her faults don’t show. My God! Couldn’t they have gotten Faith Hill or Elizabeth Shue or Janine Turner, someone very pretty, to do the commercial?
Amen, along with "Everybody Loves Raymond" (except me).
And that was depressing too, really, in its own way. So my current view is that feminism is a failure, the old fashioned me-Tarzan-you-Jane is dehumanizing, and I am taking a vow of celibacy for life and concentrating on keeping my house really, really clean.

!!!!!!!!
Never saw the show, sat thru MAYBE 2 commercial previews of the show, didn’t even know they were making a movie.
Seemed like a bunch of whiners. I took a vow of celibacy years ago and my house is really really MESSY!
Aloha kakou
Don't forget cats...lots of cats...LOL!
(seriously, though, you're too pretty to worry for too much longer!)
LOL!
How about this,
Take a vow of celibacy and read all the books that you’ve been wanting to read (housework is so boring ;) )
Thank you... I do have cats.
They should have gotten Shania
Well, Friends did have a few redeeming qualities...it introduced the world to the classic song, Smelly Cat.
Smelly Cat, Smelly cat what are they feeding you? Smelly Cat, smelly cat it's not your fault... They won't take you to the vet. You're obviously not their favorite pet. You may not be a bed of roses, And you're no friend to those with noses. Smelly cat, smelly cat what are they feeding you? Smelly cat, smelly cat it's not your fault
I just saw the pics in your profile. I would “commit” to you in a heart beat! I’d even help you do the housework too.
Said from the perfect safety of being on the other side of the continent. ;^)
Bummer! I left the land of fruits, nuts, and flakes in ‘93.
That has done so much harm to men-women relationships. Most single women I meet seem to have a core of anger to match their liberalism and lack of moral values. ugghhhh!
Where in the world are the nice, warm hearted conservative single women? :-)
Well, feminism isn’t the only cause of that anger. The fact is, even Jane Austen commented rather sarcastically that women are not allowed to fall in love until they know the man has fallen for them first. In all her books, women wait, and wait, and wait. They are strictly forbidden from any approach. They have only veto power. And it does cause anguish.
Anquish? For the men or women? :-)
(We are talking about normal, conservative women - yes?)
I’d like to think that sometimes, even a normal conservative woman hates the fact that she has to wait for a man to choose her, because if she displays the slightest inclination to pursue him, he will at best despise her.
I'm rather conservative, created my business from scratch dealing in international marketing and certainly open to a conservative woman introducing herself to me - esp if done tastefully.
I definitely would not despise her but rather base my opinion of her values and morals. Political affiliation is important - I really cannot respect liberals. Perhaps it's a geo difference as I assume you're in SoCal...where I lived back in late 60's-early 70's but returned home to Ohio.
Thanks for your comments and insight - really appreciated.
