Just to be perfectly clear, The writer of this post has a political right to write it. You have a political right to post it.
Having said that, I also have a right to express the opinion that it is badly written, unsourced, and full of unjustified leaps to unwarranted conclusions. As such, it is blatant propaganda, and of no value in making a case against Obama.
Some of the points might well have value, but only if openly sourced, verifiable, and cogently written.
This kind of article is why GrantS wank is not considered a credible source.

I doubt you are old enough to actually know what might have happened immediately after Pearl Harbor. Millions of Patriots lined up to enlist on December 8th, they were not in a gracious mood. Germans were not nearly as recognizable, besides most of the Administration were not all that anti Nazi.
I don’t care about B. Hussein’s parents being legally married, which we really could not hold against him, but I do care about the name on his birth certificate. Names are important, have consequences.
May sound strange, but a friend of mine is a name expert who is convinced that names shape people, sometimes to an amazing extent. She’s a black lady, a great Christian, who laments the idiotic made-up names black women give their kids, and actually has helped such kids turn their lives around by changing their names. There’s a long history and tradition in Judaism of the power of names and many books on it. I’ll have to call my friend. Been avoiding it because she’s a staunch Repub and may have switched because of Barak.
More to the point, another friend, an American born in Palestine, just returned from two years translating in Iraq and tells me that the idiot terrorists believe that if we elect Barak Hussein, they’ll have carte blanche to blow us up. THEY believe that the Hussein name denotes muslim warrior, who of course would never turn his back on Mohamed and jihad. So even if Barak Hussein were the best Christian and American in the world, he’d be a signal to the islamofascists that their time has come. Their leaders would use it to whip them into action.
According to what I have read, you have to not only say it, but believe it in your heart.
If anyone has a real desire to be a Muslim and has full conviction and strong belief that Islam is the true religion of God, then, all one needs to do is pronounce the “Shahada”, the testimony of faith, without further delay. The “Shahada” is the first and most important of the five pillars of Islam.
With the pronunciation of this testimony, or “Shahada”, with sincere belief and conviction, one enters the fold of Islam.

A Muslim is one who testifies that “none deserves worship but God, and Muhammad is the messenger of God.” This declaration is known as the “shahada” (witness, testimony). God is the Arabic name for God, just as Yahweh is the Hebrew name for God. By making this simple proclamation one becomes a Muslim. In addition, Muhammad serves as the role model through his exemplary life. A believer’s effort to follow Muhammad’s example reflects the emphasis of Islam on practice and action.

Although the original article included the words of the Adhan, it must be noted that the NYT Op-Ed does NOT (at least NOW) contain them. However, if one accepts the above cited sources, reciting the Adhan INCLUDES reciting the Shahada. Furthermore, this recitation under certain stated conditions, “one enters the fold of Islam.”
Since it is impossible for us to KNOW whether those conditions were met, during any of the (presumeably) maqny times Obama has recited the words, we cannot KNOW, as a certainty, whether he is formally a Muslim. In thnking about this issue, though, it is instructive to consider the many MILLIONS who have become Muslims (by reciting the Shahada) solely because that the alternative was sudden death.
Furthermore, Obama's claim to Christianity is now legitimately open to question. If he recites (by heart) the words of the Shahada, without MEANING them, what words did he say to become a Christian; and did he MEAN them, any more than the Shahada?
Finally, following Christ explicitly includes belief that Jesus is “the only begotten Son of God,” and that Jesus IS God, and is to be worshipped AS God. Following Islam explicitly includes believing that Allah IS the ONLY god, and that it is blasphemy to worship any other. THAT is what is being testified to, in the Shahada.
Saying “Jesus is God” is blasphemy to Islam.
