>>>>>>Social conservatives will not support the GOP like that in a long while to come.

“SOCONS” - who by the way are NOT conservatives in the Barry Goldwater or Ronald Reagan sense - will fall for any Elmer Gantry coming around the corner.

Even today they are still supporting the Huckster, who is Elmer Gantry reincarnate.

And they’re split the vote to leave us with McQueeg as the nominee.

Social Conservatives are the death of the GOP and perhaps of the conservative movement in America.

It’s that hypen that gives them away.

You are absolutely right on this point. Yes I would have been a lot more excited had Huck been the nominee :)... But then, guess what, we would be back where we are right now: DIVIDED and unhappy. You would probably be saying what I am saying about MaCaca today.

So back to square one.

The BIG REVELATION in these elections so far? How different 'conservatives' are from 'social-conservatives.' Social-conservatives CARE about $$$$$, but it's NOT THE ONLY THING TO CARE FOR!!!... See the difference?

Next point on the agenda: What are Social-conservatives going to do now in the Republican party?... Specially now that we have become so 'uppity' :)... and we are no longer willing to be the Dumb as*** we have been so far, blindly supporting a party who does NOT believe in what we believe or even appreciate us!... Like you for instance :)

I happen to believe that the division is so deep it can't be breached. So do we got back to the DemoCraps? Obviously no... THIRD PARTY? Why not? We also want 'change' :)
