So let’s get this straight. Obama doesn’t like the campaign tactic of “guilt by association.” He deplores the idea of attacking a candidate based on the beliefs and actions of individuals with whom he has been associated in the past or who were “casual acquaintances” of his.
“A vote for McCain is a vote for a third Bush term.”
You know, “passing acquaintances” like his pastor of 23 years Reverend Jeremiah Wright. Surely he shouldn’t be criticized for lack of judgment simply because for 23 years he sat in the pews at Reverend Wrights church as the Reverend repeatedly spewed forth sermons of hatred, racism, and condemnations (complete with explitives) of America, his nation, the only nation in the world where such language would be tolerated. Spewing hatred in calling the terrorist attacks of 9/11 “chickens coming home to roost.”
This tenuous relationship with a man who performed Obama’s marriage ceremony, “led him to Christianity,” baptized his two daughters, and whom he described as his “spiritual mentor” and who was (before his presence became a problem) one of Obama’s campaign advisors.
Just a casual acquaintance whose presence in Obama’s political and personal life who should be ignored. Who’re you gonna believe, Obama or your lying eyes?
“We’re just two ships passing in the night”
Or what about former terrorist and member of the criminal Weather Underground, William Ayers. Don’t judge Obama by his friendship with Ayers and his wife Bernadine Dohrn (also a member in good standing of the Weather Underground). They too were just “passing acquaintances” with whom he associated only briefly (for three years) while serving side by side as two of the eight members of the board of The Woods Fund of Chicago.
They’re just two poor misunderstood terrorists who are now described as “pretty mainstream” in Chicago’s Leftist Academic community and with whom Obama continued to associate, even though Ayers, in his book and in interviews says he wishes he could have done more and is unrepentant about the lives he destroyed.
Guilt by association? No. never!
“Pay no attention to the man behind the curtain!”
As in never mind that another of Obama’s “tenuous ties” to unsavory individuals includes one very unsavory Palestinian activist Rashid Khalidi, a professor at Columbia University and an outspoken supporter of Palestinian terrorists.
Tenuous ties? Hmmm, according to World Net Daily, Obama and Khalidi have been friends for 12 years, breaking bread and sharing ideals for the entire time Obama was teaching law at Columbia.
These are not “tenuous ties,” they are close, enduring relationships which have stood the test of time, if not the test of political expediency.
Guilt by association? In his speech in Boca Raton, Sunday, Obama took umbrage at these attacks, saying that it was not fair:
“To pluck out one person who I know and who I’ve had a conversation with who has very different views than 900 of my friends and then to suggest that somehow that shows that maybe I’m not sufficiently pro-Israel, I think, is a very problematic stand to take. So we gotta be careful about guilt by association.”
Yet is this not the same campaign that has been desperately trying to attack McCain’s presidential bid as “a third Bush term?”
Guilt by association?
Isn’t “guilt by association” the entire Democrat Party campaign strategy for 2008? Wasn’t that its campaign strategy in 2004? In 2006?
Isn’t “guilt by association” the standard modus operendi of the Democrat Party and the Leftist Elite who control it?
So let’s discuss the truly disturbing guilt by association of Barrack Hussein Obama.
Obama is now the publicly announced choice for the Presidency of the United States by
· Ahmed Yousef, chief political adviser to the Prime Minister of Hamas
· Communist Dictator Hugo Chavez of Venezuela
· President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad of Iran, and today
· Castro has added his name to this prestigious list of Obamistas.
Yes Senator Obama guilt by association…when the association is relevant, when judgment and temperament are to be examined, when those who wield substantial influence in what you believe and what you will do as president are of such questionable intent where America is concerned, your associations are a legitimate and necessary subject for comment.
When you take umbrage at such an examination, while carrying out a campaign against your political opponent using exactly the same technique, then not only your associations need to be examined, but your ethical standards and your honesty.
“A change you can believe in.” Is not a policy, it’s not a basis for governing, it’s not even proper grammar, it’s just an empty slogan. Like Obama, it’s glitzy, superficial and lacking in substance.

I think at least on Hannity’s shows it will and we know how many listen to FOX over the other networks. The MSM won’t touch it. It can only be hoped that someone who conducts one of those otherwise tiresome debates will have the guts to ask the question.
