I don’t know. I am a bit hopeful based on the northern Pakistan intelligence. I think that is a likely spot.
Good luck with that. Waste of resources for a futile venture.
Need boots on the ground and damned good intelligence in that area. It's massive.
Now Earnest, you must know that all the experts here at FR have declared Osama dead. They have produced hard evidence too. I’m sure they’ll reproduce it here immediately.
(I think he’s dead too, but I’ve got no evidence, I’m just guessing.)
YOU DO NOT WANT PETRAEUS ON YOUR SIX!
How high can our best helicopters get too?
Interesting....
K2 is a dangerous peak, lots of people who try to climb it die....
And the carcass fed to dogs, on camera, and lovingly displayed all over the Web. The way they do with beheadings of human beings.
Yeah right, K2 (2nd highest peak in the world after Everest)happens to be one of the most difficult mountain to climb ... people without serious alpine skills are not running around on K2.
DEAD
interesting, none the less I’m intruiged by the name of the author of this article:
Hamza Boccolini
what is he? a middle eastern vegetable or italian convert to islam...
http://faculty.ed.umuc.edu/~jmatthew/naples/islamnaples.htm
Islam in Naples
An interesting sidelight is the fact that there are at least a couple of hundred native-born Neapolitans who have converted from Roman Catholicism to Islam. This would include the author of the above-mentioned book, Hamza Massimiliano Boccolini, a graduate of the Center for Arabic and Islamic Studies of the Orientale University of Naples, one of the most prestigious institutions for Arabic studies in Italy...
... Boccolini is also the person responsible for the Islamic cultural center, the Zayd ibn Thabit Association, founded in 1997...
I will volunteer to fly the mission! (Former SAC, B-52 AC)
I question if OBL is in the Baltistan Area.
Greg Mortenson’s Central Asia Institute
http://www.ikat.org/
has been active there foe quite a while now, building school.
Also not a lot of Sunnies in the area
Shia (13%), Sufi Noorbakshi (80%),Sunni-Ahlehadith sect (7%).
Sounds like a good idea.
This should do the job!
Chasing a ghost, Ernest. Find Ayman al Zawahiri.
Maybe so. Maybe not; makes no difference to me.
Either way he's in a hole in the ground.
Zawahiri's the one to get now.
I wonder how many of his how many? kids he actually knows. Isn't he one of some 64 that HIS father had?
Funny thing is, he (Barry) looks more like Osama than the man who is supposed to be his dad..., his African father was short and round faced and VERY dark. obamama is tall, long and lean with a long face...like?
and just why does he refuse to release his birth cert? = Isn't that a required document for a future POTUS? - I'd like to see exactly where he was born, also, rather than take his word for it.
