Everybody will test the new Admin. Speculating that one or another country or group might try something is nearly guessing that the sun will rise tomorrow in the east.

And, if Obeyme’s POTUS he’ll ask how soon he should surrender.

If Obama wins, they won’t do a thing.

From the article:

“....The minute you’re inaugurated, you will be tested.’ He’ll say, ‘Oh, you mean like Kennedy was with the Bay of Pigs?’ He’ll show me some way that he’s thought about that some time ago. The guy is absolutely scary smart.”

What is SCARY is that Obama has retired generals thinking he is ‘scary smart’ just because he knows about the ‘Bay of Pigs’!!

(BIG EYE ROLL)

The stupidity of the liberals never ceases to amaze and alarm...LOL

The story quotes "retired Gen. Merrill McPeak, a former Air Force chief of staff and an Obama campaign co-chairman" as saying Obama is "absolutely scary smart."

Or maybe absolutely scary slick.

When the next president takes office in January, he or she will likely receive an intelligence brief warning that Islamic terrorists will attempt to exploit the transition in power by planning an attack on America, intelligence experts say.

Well then, we have nothing to worry about. We'll just put the general election on hold until the Dems decide and Hillary approves the seating of the Florida and Michigan delegates and which metrics will be used to decide the winner.

In the meantime , the office of the president will be filled on a monthly rotating basis between the heads of state of the 15 poorest nations as part of an executive exchange program allowing them to gain valuable experience with which to uplift their countries into prosperity equal to the USA!

I really don’t think that al Qaeda will challenge McCain. He is just crazy enough that his response might not be a measured response. People can criticize George W. Bush for lots of things but Dubya understands how AQ thinks better than his critics do. AQ figured out the math: we knock down two buildings, Bush takes out two governments friendly to AQ. AQ loses big on those exchanges. IMO, that is why we haven’t seen any major terrorist attacks against U.S. interests since 9/11.

General McPeak is just proving what my military friends have always told me: it doesn’t take brains to become a general.

Thought you’d enjoy this thread on Memorial Day.

My BIL visited here last week and we were, once again, talking about this.

The attempts to attack Americans on U.S. soil never ended after 9/11, the public just doesn’t hear/know about all the attempts, and never will. Fortunately, we do have a president currently with fortitude to do what has to be done to stop these attacks (wiretapping, etc.).

That won’t be the case should one of the democrat contenders achieve this office.

If Obama gets in, China will take Taiwan within 30 days. Any country thinking about trying something will try it. All our troops are busy and Obama won’t know what to do.

The Cole was attacked in the waning days of the Clinton Presidency.

Clinton did nothing.

Obama strikes me as less sharp than most of the well informed Freepers I read continually on this forum.

He really is not that distiguished, and his judgement is abysmal.
