Mohammed Kamin joined a growing detainee boycott of the war-crimes trials at the Guantanamo Bay Navy base in southeast Cuba. The military judge, Air Force Col. W. Thomas Cumbie, said Kamin tried to bite and spit on a guard on the way to the courtroom.

Too bad we had to even transfer them to Gitmo! They could have been lost in transit!

“An Afghan detainee was dragged from his cell to his first pretrial hearing at Guantanamo..”

No, he wasn’t — they probably asked him respectfully to vacate his cell and then thanked the *sshole properly after he did.

We do not want to be accused of violating his human rights.

As the judge asked whether he understood his rights, Kamin said he put his trust only in Allah. “I wait for his decision, that is enough,” he said.

So shoot him and let him go meet Satan, give him his wish.

I hope we did not pay for his sneakers. I always thought most POW’s were a waste of time. Now, an occasional POW snatch to gain immediate Intel is often useful, but; how do we justify having so many? A bullet ends their misery, and; the politically correct should welcome our troops sending them to their virgins.

How did you like Puerto Rico? I was a brat there (army) from 1970-1975. Then Panama.

I just sent you a private reply. Feel free to ask anything. I will not tell you I am a hero. I will merely state how tough it is to get a live POW out without risking more of your own men.

In retrospect, I like it. I was there as a medical officer during that time and not as a combatant. I suspect you were a Fort Buchanan dependent. Does that sound right?

These are not POW's. They did not wage battle under the Rules of War. They are enemy detainees - they do not require that we treat them according to the Geneva Convention. We can do with them what ever the hell we want to do with them.

Spit and bit a guard - rip his tongue out!

A few of them dropped from a helicopter on Taliban strongholds in Afghanistan and al-Quds camps in Iran might go a long way towards underlining the point we mean business.

Exactly! My dad was active duty Army but was attached to the PR National Guard at that time.
