[Snip]...Look, we all know where this campaign is going and it's not good. It hasn't been good for a long, long time and it gets worse by the day. But with a little creativity among the surviving candidates we can still snatch victory from the jaws of wingnuts and moonbats.

I don't know. Perhaps because that is where their co-workers are posting?
“I will note that I didn’t get a single response from MNJohnnie explaining his positions and reconciling these posts that glaringly show the conflicts in his ... errr... political ideology. I’m hoping that there is some rational explanation”
Check out post #35 for my take on why you received no response....the last sentence in particular.
Great post. Thank you.
Pretty well sums it up, IMO.
Hey, Johnnie. Are you paid to post here?
They have gotten in such a habit of bitching they never fight the Left on anything anymore. In fact, they ignore the Left to find new excuses to whine about the GOP. They are not going to be happy until they bitch their way to a 60+ seat Democrat Senate, 300+ seat Democrat House and a Democrat President. THEN they will mindlessly bitch at everyone else for what THEY helped created with their ignorant whining.
Pretty tough to win a battle when 30% of your team NEVER does anything but snipe it's own side in the back.
What conservative media?
They have gotten in such a habit of bitching they never fight the Left on anything anymore.
You mean the folks who get outraged because not enough is done to curb illegal immigration? Or when ignorant republicans tout global warming hysteria? Personally, I oppose those things whether it is the Right or the Left promoting them. (And I question the credentials of anyone claiming to be from "the right" that does).
Pretty tough to win a battle when 30% of your team NEVER does anything but snipe it's own side in the back.
Folks promoting leftist policies are not on "my side." How does one "win a battle" when their presumptive "leader" is surrendering to the enemy by embracing their goals?
“Pretty tough to win a battle when 30% of your team NEVER does anything but snipe it’s own side in the back.”
Yeah, I get pi$$ed every time McGore does that too. I knew we’d find common ground.
Glad someone has been paying attention
after the kudos for his service, add:
2. his support for the war in Iraq; and
3. his record of no earmarks (fiscal conservative)
Great paper dragon.
If you read this entire thread, you will understand that #2 is not on my list of priorities
If you take into consideration that the creep wants to gives amnesty to upwards of 30 million illegal aliens and someone is going to pay for the social costs of that, that pretty much shoots holes in the whole “fiscal conservative” argument.
Yeah you would be second on the list demanding fealty to that nightmare.
I know you don’t like McCain.
I just keep trying to say, he’s not JUST like Obama.
He has some good points.
For instance, going with your position that he’s totally open border, well, we then have the choice of Obama (totally open border, retreat from Iraq) and McCain (totally open border, stay in Iraq until total victory).
For some, the good points are not enough. For you, the good points are not enough. But he’s not a clone.
