Exactly, we are at a time where the rubber meets the road! We need a fearless leader to stand up and say to Congress that we does not want the biggest transfer of wealth ever to occur when it is so needless and does not have to happen. Save for those who would turn our lives into a socialist paradise!!

The enviro rats are perfectly willing to watch the country go down the tubes while defending their endangered man eating crocodiles.

It just brings them one step closer to their ultimate goal socialism/communism,time to call a spade a spade.

They certainly aren’t.
I remember when Waxman and Conyers used to have those mock ‘hearings’ in a basement room of the Capitol when they were still in the minority. Unfortunately our Republican campaign leaders did not show those stupid events to potential voters.

The dems adverise what their plans for this country are. POWER in their hands, no matter what. And our congressmen are still trying to be liked!

Consider - Hastert AND his seat are gone. William Jefferson, Democrat Louisiana is still there.

They are even slicker than that.a Kennedy style accident.

Conyers and other top dems are the same way. They really don't care how they get rid of opposition that exposes their socislistic ways they just want them to go. By hook or crook. They can't stand begin exposed for what they are.It ruins everything for them.

Obama’s Axelrod to Stefalococcus: “We take her at her word, we’re beyond that issue...”

Steff picking the scab anyway.

Ax: “She and we agreed to party rules...” Later cites polls showing Obama is more popular.

Steff responds that another poll shows Obama’s weak with some Dems who say they’ll go with McCain. Ax unshaken, injects the point “when YOU were working for Bill Clinton...” just in case anyone doesn’t know! :)

Steff mentions the “presumptive nominee” losing states badly, like WV. Sounds like Steffie woke up with a horse head this morning!

Steff mentions dream ticket Clinton/Obama. Isn’t DiFi’s logic compelling? Ax: “We’re getting all kinds of advice, we’ll deal with that...”

Ax offers praise to Clinton again, but says nothing hopeful about the veep spot. “Her supporters understand how desperately we need change...”

Next up, Rove!

[Evidently in Anwar it’s a different turf,real mooshy,from what I have been told. ]

So was the highway for miles and miles. They brought in rock, gravel, stones etc., as overlay to protect the critical areas. Kept in the cold (perma-frost), kept it solid. All ok.

There is ALWAYS A WAY. Even in 1943. Certainly in 2008.

Morning Morgan!

Exactly, same for nukes, perfect place to store everything that needs to be stored. And, build everything that needs to be built.

But, it's contrary to what the dems want for their agenda which is to tear down the country and rebuild under Fidel rules.

Mentioning the “little guy” cuts directly into the dems self-perceived constituency. Taking that on really hurts them, especially in an election where Obama is the nominee, since so many dem “little guys” voted for Mrs. Clinton, not him.

It's about winning back the so-called Reagan democrats, who are really conservatives but have been lead to believe the dems care about them more than the Republicans do.

So many issues should be playing into our hands over this group, which should be ours, not theirs. For example, illegal immigration. Blue collar workers are hurting because of it, but dem pols support illegals over them. The gas prices, fuel oil, electricity bills, kitchen table issues. Blue collars don't like to see America's military lose, but there again, dems want to surrender to Al Qaeda and the Mahdi army in Iraq, and let the Iranians kill our troops and have Iraq without the beat-down they so well deserve.

The list is long. Pick from it and campaign like this election HAS to be won (because, it really does).

I should have added nuclear power plants as well, as to utilizing these abandoned bases. Good point.

If you like $4/gal, Thank Congress.
The Dems in Congress and a few Repubs are every bit as helpful in the Energy Crisis as they are in Iraq.

Great News ! Thanks for the info, somehow I was under the impression, since we haven't built any new refineries in a long time, that the enviro wackos, put a stop to all new refineries, like they did with the drilling for oil..

I have a friend who works for BP, as a chemist there, he said most of this high gas prices is due to the many formulations on regional gas as well as the commodities market going nutz. Is he right?

Thought for The Day

A taxpayer voting for Barrack Obama or Hillary Clinton is like a chicken voting for Colonel Sanders.

Howie Kurtz is interviewing Laura Dern and a producer about the HBO movie Recount.

She says she is a total partisan, who is still disappointed because not all the votes were counted.

She plays Katherine Harris, and [since Laura is a lib], she cannot imagine that Katherine Harris did not twist the laws of Florida in favor of Bush. Dems just do not believe in ethical behavior when politics is the issue!

Good point. Reagan knew this, capitalized on it, and threw back as much as he got. And won because of it.

Sometimes I wonder just what the Hell I'm doing voting Republican year after year, with all these milque-toast morons leading the party. We really, truly are the stupid party.

But then I remember who really hates America, and by extension, me and mine. The left-wing, socialists who go by the name of Democratic Party. They'll never get my vote for a thousand years. Even a conservative dem, in the end, caucuses with Pelosi, Murtha, Kennedy, Conyers, Shumer, Clinton, Boxer, Obama, etc, etc, ad nauseum.

We need them bad, I know you have mentioned it before.

..............

just watched MODO on MTP. She is obviously having a rough time. She doesn't help her cause by spray painting her hair red or continuing to talk through her nose, she could try a little harder.
