The City on a Hill sometimes must prove and preserve its moral high ground by making craters.

Don't knock McCain on that particular score...if I were president, I would call in most of that same bunch and pick their brains too and seek consensus.
And then I'd know what NOT to do.

Another reason to can the presumptive nomination of McLoser.
Seek the wisdom of Biden?
That is a non-existent entity.
That is one scary quote from McAmnesty. Thanks for finding it.

Has McCain made any statements about this recently? Hes changed some of his ideas since being defeated in the 2000 campaign. Are you possibly working from the baseline assumption that John McCain might conceivably have become more conservative over the past four years, rather than less...? ;)

And then I'd know what NOT to do.... and, had this been what McCain had actually stated, in the direct quotation referenced: I'd be reasonably okay with that. ;)

We already have the moral high ground, you idiot. The Democratic Compromise (Hussein-Pelosi) with Iran is NOT about terrorism nor nuclear capabilities. It's about one thing now...CHEAP OIL. The uneducated ignorant general populace would swoon over lower gas prices regardless of the compromises with Iran.

He was either pandering (my first vote) or he really believes this nonsense that these traitors actually have something good or righteous or useful to add to the discussion
