I guess justice is truly blind in the State of New York....RIM SHOT! Ba-da-dump

Nothing like turning a "blind" eye to murder!

“Slick Rick was indicted on 2 counts of attempted murder and pled guilty to all charges which also included, assault, use of a firearm, and criminal possession of a weapon. Russell Simmons, head of Def Jam records, bailed him out,,,”

Russell Simmons loves Slick rick, but not Russell’s wife. What do Russell and Easy-E have in common?

Certainly this was done to correct an injustice done to an innocent man and not simply a stunt to pander to a voting demographic.

New York Governor David Paterson is “president” Barack Hussein Muhammad Obama (PBUH) writ small. Look for slavery reparations, massive new affirmative action programs, socialistic health care, tax hikes, millions of ethnics pardoned & released from prison to prey on innocents, “co-president” Michelle Obama, a weakened military, retreat from Iraq and the rest of the War on Terror, etc...

Why don’t you New Yorkers pardon the Gove right out of office?

A specific attempt to subvert Federal immigration laws by this clown. The INS should proceed with the deportation and let the attempted murderer appeal from his homeland.

We need to put this into proper perspective. This puke of a governor is doing everything he can to further restrict the access and possession of firearms to all innocent adults in New York. At the same time is is rewarding this gangster for trying to kill two people using a firearm!!!!!
And they say crime doesn't pay. It seems to be paying this governor just fine. I wonder how much money changed hands for this to happen??? It's got to take a lot of money to cause this level of hypocrisy!!

I wasn’t shocked when Slick Rick committed these crimes, but I was saddened. He actually was, and maybe still is, extremely talented.

He had many rhymes which one could truly call poetic, and he was excellent at using rhyme as a means of storytelling. The problem is he actually lived the life he often wrote about.

I just don’t see how you justify pardoning a man who pleaded guilty.
