"U.S. air strikes must be powerful and sustained enough to break the myth of the regime’s absolute power and reveal the weakness of the leadership,” a former official who traveled outside of Iran recently said."

Geez, who actually believes Iran has "absolute power"? Whomever it is I wish they'd send me some of whatever they're smokin'

Sounds like a good idea but it has to be before the election in the fall. The next president intends to talk them to death. He will have to because he intends to trash our military.

How about a nice little nuke at their enrichment facility?
It would accomplish so much.
1) We haven’t nuked anyone since 1945. None of our enemies belivee that we ever will, so it isn’t a threat. Dropping a tiny nuke will change that attitude.
2) Europe and every socialist, marxist, communist or islamic nation out there will condemn us. So what. They hate us anyway and the incident will be forgotten in two years.
3) Anyone considering giving us problems will reconsider for fear of offending us.
4) Mr. Bush is a lame duck. He has nothing to lose and everything to gain for our country.

I’m currently at a base that was bombed heavily by the US in both Gulf Wars. I don’t think they really mean that.

I don't know who is less reliable, Kenneth Timmerman or Newsmax.

Bush’s entire Presidency has been focused on the WOT. I can’t see him leaving office without taking out Iran. IMO, it’s been a strategic goal of the entire campaign.
