Yes it would be good to take advantage of the gameboard established by the entry into Iraq and Afghanistan.

It has been a great disappointment that the administration (Bush, Rice--and now Gates) appear to have no clue as to the futility of any "Road Map to Peace" which does not begin with regime decapitation in Tehran.

There can be no UN sanction or EU negotiation or economic pressure or peace process which will change the facts on the ground, namely that Iran and Syria are working with the aid of North Korea, Russia and China to foster insurgency, terror and the killings of our people.

We are indeed already at war and it is abhorrent that our leadership refuses to acknowledge it, preferring the obscene pretense that a "great religion has been hijacked by a few fanatics".

Our energy and economic strife is intertwined, for the Saudis extort an ever higher price for the oil we must have, while using their profits (yoo hoo, Lordess Nancy Pelassi, over here, please) to fund the terror recruiting stations laughingly called schools.
