A new set of polls from Quinnipiac gives some credibility to the Clinton campaign's argument that Hillary is the more electable Democrat.
Florida McCain (R) 45%, Obama (D) 41% Clinton (D) 48%, McCain (R) 41% Ohio McCain (R) 44%, Obama (D) 40% Clinton (D) 48%, McCain (R) 41%
Pennsylvania Obama (D) 46%, McCain (R) 40% Clinton (D) 50%, McCain (R) 37%
No wonder Howard Dean is screaming about scrapping the electoral college.

Because there's a very plausable scenario that Obama might win the popular votes by up to several millions without being able to winn the presidency! Remember George W. Bush beat Kerry by 3% in 2004 and he could very well lose the white house if 20,000(?) votes flipped to Kerry.
Does Florida count?
Someone is working overtime to win over superdelegates.
The DNC knows clinton would stand the best chance in the GE. They are in a catch 22 with the magic negro and they know it.
I think its funny as hell.
Obama is in line for a major a$$ kicking in November. The DNC knows it and is powerless to do anything about it.
And the funny thing is that the superdelegate system was set up precisely in order to be able to prevent their party from picking another McGovern or Mondale who would lead the DemocRATS off a cliff in November.
All the safeguards in the world cannot protect stupid people from their own stupidity.
"Stupid people don't know they're stupid....because they're stupid" (quote - Jay Leno)
But this time I think even they know they're being very stupid.
Obama won't carry Florida or Ohio against McCain.
Heck, I cannot imagine him winning Pennsylvania, Michigan or Texas either.
Obama is slime, and many Americans know it.
Hopefully they will show up for McCain in November.
Obama’s folks seem to be awfully confident lately. He is tacking left, not right heading into the general.
I suspect they are waiting to nail McCain on age, health, etc. and figure people hate Bush so much they wont mind electing the biggest (bigger?) Socialist since FDR.
And in theory that would have worked if all the contenders were rich old white men. In their worst nightmares DemocRATs never imagined one of the oppressed would fling off his chains and try to take over the plantation. The chickens are coming home to roost!
Hussein does better in several states that Hillary, Gore and Kerry have been completely non-competitive in... but if those states come into play, all has been lost a long time ago. But he could lose Wisconsin, Michigan, and Pennsylvania. If McCain wins any of those states, Iowa, New Mexico, and Colorado won’t matter a hill of beans.
