McCain Says Immigration Reform Should Be Top Priority

SAN JOSE—In yet another sign of his pivoting toward the general election, Senator John McCain said at a roundtable with business leaders here today that comprehensive immigration reform should be a top priority for the next president.

Mr. McCain’s willingness to address the issue was striking given how the topic became something of a third-rail for Republican presidential candidates during the primary.

When Mr. McCain’s presidential bid stalled last summer, many blamed his advocacy for the immigration reform bill in the Senate, which included a pathway to citizenship for the illegal immigrants already here in the country.

“Double digit I.Q., or just really selfish and shortsighted?”

Genius level actually (but I don’t like to brag).

I’d gladly trade out some hard working illegal immigrants for some lazy assed U.S. citizens. Those who don’t see the benefits of immigration are, to use your words, the selfish and shortsighted ones.

Just for the record, I believe this is a January of 09 discussion and not something that McCain should be making an issue of right now. I have witnessed, as many of us have, the hard working (non union...”It’s break time”) ethic of many of these human beings. It is something that many of us can argue “both sides of the issue”..... my point is that...if McCain is making this argument now - it is not helpful.

I went to my daughter’s graduation today at California State University Northridge and it was like a little United Nations. Ten Thousand kids were graduating. I have to admit that even though it seemed to be a diverse congregation lacking of Americans, it was far better than sitting amongst illiterate Mexicans. Don’t get me wrong, there were plenty of Mexicans graduating, I’m talking about the illiterates that McCain wants so that we can turn our country socialist.

Well then he better get busy and secure the borders so we can, only then, talk about the illegals that are here and those who want to come.

We already have 20 million illegals here, how many more millions are needed to pick lettuce and tomatoes?

McCain & Arnie's problem is that even illegals have moved on to construction, meatpacking and factory work. It's simple economics, they, like every other employer, are going to raise their workers pay until they attract enough suitable workers.

Wrong, Duck Fan!

The Invasion = At least 25 dead Americans every day due to murder and drunk driving accidents committed by illegal aliens:

ILLEGAL ALIEN STATISTICS
Summary: On average each day 25 Americans die at the hands of criminal aliens in the United States. Twelve Americans are murdered by criminal aliens. Another ten Americans are killed by drunk-driving criminal aliens. Finally, an additional three Americans will die because of negligent homicides by criminal aliens, such as running a red light, speeding, or the negligent handling of a dangerous weapon.

Murder - The willful (non-negligent) killing of one human being by another. This includes first and second-degree murder, as well as non-negligent manslaughter. Murder does not include deaths caused by negligence, suicide, or accident; justifiable homicides; attempts to murder or assaults to murder, which are considered “aggravated assaults.”

Negligent Homicide - Negligent homicide is the killing of another person through gross negligence or without malice. It can also be considered a death that is the result of the negligent operation of a motor vehicle, which includes the operation of a car, boat or snowmobile.

Source: Iowa Representative Steve King (IA-5) first brought these alarming statistics to our attention earlier this year. Recently, Congressman King was the guest of Bill O’Reilly who had asked the Iowan come on his show to discuss his findings in greater detail.

Statistics:

Criminal Alien Prison Population -
According to an April 7th, 2005 General Accounting Office (GAO) study entitled, “Information on Criminal Aliens Incarcerated in Federal and State Prisons and Local Jails” [Report # GAO-05-337R] prepared for the Congressional Subcommittee on Immigration, Border Security, and Claims:

“27% of the total population in all U.S. prison systems (including city, county, state and federal) is composed of criminal aliens.”

Total Murders in the U.S. in 2005 -
According to the FBI, there were 16,692 persons murdered in the U.S. in 2005. The Uniform Crime Reporting Program defines murder and non-negligent manslaughter as the willful killing of one human being by another.

Total Drunk-Driving Fatalities in the U.S. in 2005 -
According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, 12,945 Americans were killed in car crashes where the driver had a blood alcohol concentration of .08g/dL or higher in 2005.

Calculations:
Total number of people murdered in the U.S. at the hands of criminal aliens in 2005: 4,507
This number is calculated by taking 27% multiplied by the total number of murders in the U.S. in 2005 (.27 x 16,692 = 4,507)
This figure equals approximately 12 murders every day at the hands of criminal aliens (4,507 / 365 = 12)

Total number of people killed in the U.S. as a result of drunk-driving criminal aliens in 2005: 3,495
This number is calculated by taking 27% multiplied by the total number of alcohol-related fatalities in 2005 (.27 x 12,945 = 3,495)
This figure equals approximately 10 deaths every day at the hands of criminal alien drunk drivers (3,495 / 365 = 10)

Conclusions:
Twenty-five Americans die at the hands of criminal aliens every day in the U.S.
(12 murders + 10 drunk-driving fatalities + 3 negligent homicides = 25 deaths every day)

In the year 2005, criminal aliens killed more than three times the number of Americans murdered in the terrorist attacks of 9-11 died.
9,125 Americans died at the hands of criminal aliens in 2005, as compared to approximately 3,000 Americans who perished in 9-11.

Additional Statistics:
Federal prison criminal alien population:
Total number of criminal aliens in federal prison: 48,708
Mexico 63%, Colombia and Dominican Republic 7% each, Jamaica 4%, Cuba 3% and El Salvador 2%, remaining countries represent less than 2% each.
Source: Bureau of Prisons (BOP)

Top 5 State prisons system criminal alien population:
Total number of criminal aliens in top 5 states’ prison systems: 51,600
Mexico 58%, Cuba and Dominican Republic 5% each, El Salvador 4%, Jamaica 3%, remaining countries represent less than 3% each.

Top 5 local jails’ criminal alien population:
Total number of criminal aliens in top 5 states’ prison systems: 170,000
Mexico 65%, El Salvador 6%, Guatemala 3%, remaining countries represent less than 3% each.

The Invasion = 5,000 to 10,000 illegal aliens breaking into the U.S. every day, not caught.

The Invasion = Thousands of American jobs being given to desperate illegal aliens every day who will work for much less and who work largely under the table and don’t pay taxes, all of this costing the U.S. a fortune in loss of wages and revenue.

The Invasion = 40 billion sent back to Mexico instead of being spent here, damaging our economy.

The Invasion = Hospitals all over the Southwest and West having closed or are about to close because of illegals not paying their medical bills.

The Invasion = Illegal alien gang members in the U.S. numbering 200,000 or more.

The Invasion = Unprecedented document fraud that is so pervasive, that it is out of control. Document fraud has not and is not being prosecuted as it should be—with vigor!!

The Invasion = Mexican government being allowed to open a consulate in almost every major city in America for the sole purpose of aiding and abetting illegal alien Mexicans, of which there are 40 million.

All this, and muchy more!

It is going to be bad in 2009, with either of those two saps in the White House. We will be totally overrun by 2015 on illegal immigration. They are going to flood the place, there will be anchor babies all over the place and whole families being petitioned in from illegals who will have become “regularized”. Folks, they are NOT giving up, despite the fact the American people want them to drop that crap and start in on the deportations and denial of services.

“Senator Kennedy and I tried very hard to get immigration reform, a comprehensive plan, through the Congress of the United States,” he said. “It is a federal responsibility and because of our failure as a federal obligation, we’re seeing all these various conflicts and problems throughout our nation as different towns, cities, counties, whatever they are, implement different policies and different programs which makes things even worse and even more confusing.”
//////////////////
There’s now already a bill somewhere in congress that has some language in it that bars the states from doing anything about illegals.

Meanwhile the feds do nothing.

GD we’re being conquered.

McCain is better than any democrat in the white house but conservatives have to be prepared to fight him tooth and claw.

He will show no quarter.

His people need to be defeated everywhere.

“In yet another sign of his pivoting toward the general election”

As absolutely horrible as McBoob has been to this point in time, keep in mind that this is as “right” as he is ever going to be. In the general, he’s going to go even further left.
