Makes me wonder, what is he trying to hide?

But there is the little thing about election. Do the Massachusetts voters simply nod their heads when told by their political betters what to acquiesce in?
I should have thought they’d have more dignity.
Guess not.

And the pathetic electorate of MA will re-elect her till she dies. That obviously is the Kennedy seat in the Senate and no one else need apply.

This is mildly surprising.

How does one INHERIT a Senate seat?
That isn’t covered in Kennedy’s inheritence tax is it?
Can we pick over the distribution of his estate and see how many tax shelters he used?

That’s not gonna fly here. There are too many democrats salivating over that seat. And I don’t think the people will go for it either. The Senate isn’t the House of Lords. Time to give somebody else a chance. 1952 to 2008 is long enough.
To: BelegStrongbow
I should have thought theyd have more dignity. You want dignity from the place that habitually elects Teddy K, Jean Querrie, and Barney the Frank?

He apparently thinks his family has title to his appointment.
Sadly, not unlike other political families....
He knows nothing of our history....or refuses to acknowledge it.
I fear for my country...........

1952 to 2008 is long enough. For the record, he first came to the Senate in 1962.

Maybe if she doesn’t want it we can give the Senate seat to his landscaper or whoever else Ted wants.

No, but I would have thought they might have wanted some, at least among themselves.
I guess tugging the forelock is a widespread malady. And here, I thought it was just something for Southerners.
Live and learn.

Since the US Senate seat is OWNED by the Kennedy’s, it is certainly his ‘to give’. /s

How do you think Ted got it in the first place?

If she can win an election - it’s fine with me. But to give? Nah. It’s as if Kennedy gave her the moon — and she tried to collect. It’s just not his to “give” away.
