Say what you want about McCain but he has a sharp crew working for him when it comes to PR.

The Bush crew could have used them in the past several years.

He knows the conservatives consider him an abomination so he’s trying to peel away the dem moderates.

Pathetic.

They should be posting here but I guess they figure they have a better chance of getting votes on Dem sites.

That really doesnt make a whole lot of sense... THe hard core political fans wont change their stripes based on some anonymous post.

I would advise going to apolitical places and dump anecdotal items in support of McCain to perhaps sway an undecided. I know everyone hates politics in apolitical places but they have to be done in a way that doesnt out you as some spammer or troller.

I wont be doing any of that though.

“Incentivizing” makes it sounds like he’s bribing them. Looks to me like they are just putting out ways that supporters can help if they want to.

McCain sucks up to the execrable Daily “Screw Them” Kos...meanwhile, it takes Michelle Malkin multiple attempts to get included in the McCain campaign’s blogger update phone calls. Something is very, very wrong here.

Suggesting that people post messages supporting McCain on DailyKos is laughable. The poster would get banned or heckled to death, and probably both. What’s even sillier is that you can bet your bottom dollar the Kos Kidz probably already know about this “plan” and will be looking out for it!

Sheesh!

And to make things easier, they're including talking points with which sympathizers can use to get out the McCain message.

Sympathizers? LOL! Must be the new buzzword for troll.

He needs to keep an eye on those who follow his advice. A few McCain supporters are pretty obnoxious and spend more time yelling about “radical right wingers” than they do posting any McCain positives. They hurt, rather than help him.

FROM McCAIN'S WEBSITE:

NOTE--HE DOES NOT MENTION CLOSING THE BORDER

Border Security and Immigration Reform

I have always believed that our border must be secure and that the federal government has utterly failed in its responsibility to ensure that it is secure. If we have learned anything from the recent immigration debate, it is that Americans have little trust that their government will honor a pledge to do the things necessary to make the border secure.

As president, I will secure the border. I will restore the trust Americans should have in the basic competency of their government.(SO WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN SINCE 1986?) A secure border is an essential element of our national security. Tight border security includes not just the entry and exit of people, but also the effective screening of cargo at our ports and other points of entry.

But a secure border will contribute to addressing our immigration problem most effectively if we also:

Recognize the importance of building strong allies in Mexico and Latin America (Kissing up to them) who reject the siren call of authoritarians like Hugo Chavez, support freedom and democracy, and seek strong domestic economies with abundant economic opportunities for their citizens.

Recognize the importance of pro-growth policies -- keeping government spending in check, holding down taxes, and cutting unnecessary regulatory burdens -- so American businesses can hire and pay the best.(THE BEST---Do you include Illegals in that?)

Recognize the importance of a flexible labor market to keep employers in business and our economy on top. It should provide skilled Americans and immigrants with opportunity. Our education system should ensure skills for our younger workers, and our retraining and assistance programs for displaced workers (People on Unemployment and Welfare--sounds like more Socialism to me)must be modernized so they can pursue those opportunities

Recognize the importance of assimilation (We do--Why do we still have "For English-Press 1"--Don't you have any control over that?) of our immigrant population, which includes learning English, American history and civics, and respecting the values of a democratic society.

Recognize that America will always be that "shining city upon a hill," a beacon of hope and opportunity for those seeking a better life built on hard work and optimism.

Border security and our failed immigration system are more examples of an ailing Washington culture (And how long have you been a member of that Failed, ailing culture?) in need of reform to regain the trust of Americans. In too many areas -- from immigration and pork barrel spending to Social Security, health care, energy security and tax relief -- business-as-usual politics prevents addressing the important challenges facing our nation.

As I live and breathe. I am changing my approach. It is this, “If McCain supporters do not want Barack Obama as their POTUS, spend less time here, and make a fervent appeal to have an acceptable candidate nominated at the convention”. I am no longer going to be the person on the defensive. Don’t like that answer? Tough.

If you do not want Obama. Get a new candidate. Otherwise you will get what you hate the most.
