DETROIT- Attorneys for Kwame Kilpatrick are catching a judge's anger after the Detroit mayor missed a hearing in 36th District Court.
Judge Ronald Giles complained Tuesday about Kilpatrick's absence and the short notice given of a weekend trip to Texas.
Tuesday's hearing was on a motion filed by defense attorneys.
Kilpatrick informed the court Saturday that he was flying to Texas on city business that night.
His bond allows travel outside the state, but Giles has said the mayor is to attend hearings.
Kilpatrick and former Chief of Staff Christine Beatty face a Sept. 22 preliminary examination on perjury and other charges stemming from testimony they gave during a whistle-blowers' trial.

Kwame is nothing but a well-dressed thug. He is just laughing at the court. Hold him in contempt. He knew that he was to be at all hearings.
Kwame Swame would make a great African dictator.
The judge had better be careful. Kwame might have a baseball bat on him. ;)
Why should he be expected to behave any differently toward the court than the last Democratic President?

King Kwame is making a mockery of Giles’ Kangaroo Court.
...at the same time that the prosecutor is trying to have Giles removed from hearing the case, because he donated $300.00 to Kwame’s election campaign.
Kwame will pay no price for his misdeeds because he is a Democrat and he is black. NOT GUILTY!

Exactly! What he has done is RAT resume enhancement and will probably put him at the top of B-Hussein-O’s VP list!
