That’s how Geraldo became famous..it was the State Mental Hospital in New Jersey. He did an expose and became the “it” boy. I know, he came to speak at my high school about it. All the girls (including myself) were swooning..AT THE TIME!!
Oh, okay. I’m never sure of Geraldo. He seems like the type that could take down a few good businesses in his quest for the limelight.
Swooning, huh? LOL. The 70s had some characters! I was in highschool at the same time.
I am ashamed to admit I was a junior high school Geraldo swooner back in the day before fame went to his pin head. WABC’s Eyewitness News - also home to one Rose Ann Scamardella, the model for Gilda Radner’s Roseanne Roseannadanna.
Yes, considering that the average homosexual male has 500 partners during their lifetime there will be increased sales in Vaseline, KY, condoms, and adult toys, because of the increase in homosexual marriage that will be performed in Californicatia.
I KNEW IT!! I alluded to this in an earlier post today... faaaabulous gay weddings = tourism and tax revenues. The gay market is estimated to have some $60 Billion in disposable income. How can he endorse this; isn’t Arnie a Catholic? How sad.
Has there been a more embarassing moment in our state’s history?
I don’t know. I would have thought the award would have gone to Willie Brown or Jerry Brown,
or even Pete Wilson. But... maybe he trumped all of them.
Of course, Jane Fonda still holds the award for the most despicable performance, I think.
I have at one point in time refered to Willie Brown as the most powerful man west of the Mississippi and the most vile politically. Despite my belief in that, the guy didn’t allow our state to approach the verge of barkrupcy. Neither did Jerry Brown or Pete Wilson. I voted for Pete, but I was never a big fan of his. Still, grouping him in with Jerry and Willie wasn’t exactly a grouping of equals, no slam intended.
Mr. Moonbeam was a joke. I’ll grant you that. Still, he never pushed the gay agenda as much as the Democrats today do. In fact, he never supported it as much as Schwarzenegger does, unless my memory is faulty.
Schwarzenegger’s comments about an economic boom and inviting all homosexuals here to wed, are frankly a display of degeneracy at the very top that has been unqualed to my recollection.
As for Jane Fonda, I think of her as a national blight. It’s hard to think of her as California’s own. She’s lived in France, California, the South... you name it. The woman should have lived in a federal prison for a decade or so IMO. Her shame is not Claifornia’s alone. She is a national disgrace, and has skated on some very serious activities.
Polly, I moved my wife and kids and our business out of my home state of California two and half years ago. We came to Dallas, and all I can say is that it's worlds apart from SoCal.
Texas is still (mostly) a conservative state. I can't tell you how refreshing it is to find myself constantly surrounded with conservative, patriotic Americans. I no longer feel like I'm living behind enemy lines, and can live my life as a proud American, openly, and without fear of condemnation, or even retribution from my neighbors.
And, of course you can still buy a decent home out here for a reasonable price. These are just some of the reasons that DFW is the fastest growing metro area in the country.

After a report about a young girl being raped, the camera accidentally panned to Antoine. Not knowing what to say, he blurted, "Well, you know what confuscious says, if rape is inevitable, lay back and enjoy!" (I'm not making that up.)
Of course he had a long suspension for that and his replacement? Storm Field.
Those were the glory days of New York News.

I just spied your PERFECT TAGLINE!!!
I suspect McCain is very close to holding this same position.
Not likely. They did this in Spain and only 3000 homosexuals showed up.
This will have a larger affect on any kids who are unlucky enough to be stuck in California’s school system.
Now they’ll be trying to convince the kids that they’re bigots if they don’t try homosexual sex. After all, now there’s nothing wrong with it.
Thank ya! PJ O’Rourke has been temporarily replaced for a more direct observation, LOL.
I would add, "with a dull, Democrat inspired knife!!!" (yikes!)
