Agents carried the cat to ...an Open Space park in west Boulder where it was released.
Wildlife officers said the cat is about 2-years-old and known in the neighborhood. The same mountain lion was in the same neighborhood last week. In that incident, the mountain lion was tranquilized, but managed to run away.
The cat also appears to have a high tolerance for tranquilizers.

The nuisance bears in Yellowstone often are dumped in Utah by the DOW .
Then the nuisance bears continue to be nuisance bears breaking into more people’s homes.
The public lands are also full of large adult lions due to hunting restrictions. The lion populations are exploding. There is no more empty open spaces .
Then, either the existing adult male or this teenager will be killed by the other lion.
This is ridiculous. This cat has been there twice and they are going to release him nearby and expect him not to come back?
This is a mauling/killing waiting to happen.

We have these cats all over these mountains. I have never seen a mountain lion though. I have seen tracks in the snow that couldn’t have been more than 15 minutes old. I told you about the bobcat that came and napped on our driveway for a couple of hours last summer didn’t I? First one I have ever seen.

Well, we have lots of deer around here but no predators, so the deer are a pain.
(I am having luck with my recently installed deer flags, though.Keeping my fingers crossed.))

With the bears around here, the first time they become too close to humans they are trapped and relocated (a long way away). The second time they come back they are put down.
It’s a proven fact that wild animals like this, when they become too acclimated to humans, will attack eventually.
Chances are, Miss Churchill, some liberal, compassionate leftie’s child at this school is destined to become cat food!!!

Yes...It’s known that relocating lions doesn’t work but there are more and more of these types like Churchill working for F & W agencies.
Several months ago a lion came into a residential neighborhood in Duarte (So CA which is near where I was raised) and decided he wanted a residents dog for a meal which he promptly did.
The next day the spokesman for CA Dept of F & G said it was nothing to worry about because the cat has moved on.
This guy is either the best psychic in the country or as big an idiot as Churchill, I’m betting on the latter.

There are very few places in Colorado that are more than 10 miles from ‘civilization’. This kitty can cover that much ground in a few hours.
Actually, I was thinking of Wyoming. LOL!
